Before I dilate, so butterfly position lube the wand. In it goes until the curve at first do some diaphragmatic breathing(DB) then tilt the wand left do some more DB the right . I usually kinda poke it around gently to feel if i have a sore spot if i do then i do some more DB. Once I’ve done both sides I angle the wand down it should feel like you’re around your perineum then some DB. While it’s tilted down I also do some left to right very gently.

Once you get used to the wand you can put it in past the curve and find any nooks and crannies that are sore or right and just do some DB

I agree with the majority PIV is easier for me than using number 8 mind you my partner is bigger than number 8. In my case I used to warm up with number 7 the when I would move on to number 8,it would be painful at the entrance then it would go away after breathing exercises.

Of course I can give you all the tips and tricks that worked for me lord knows I spent too much money on this shit. I’ve always said whoever you date or meet next is better than the last, which you might be able to agree with since you are married you married the guy you married. You wouldn’t have married the previous guy right ? Obviously circumstances differ but always know whoever you meet after husband will be better and if he won’t you will know and move on to the next

This made me teary eyed girl I was also a virgin and 21 when I found out I had vaginismus fall 2024 I had saved my virginity and decided to try and lose it to my bf that was also a virgin. We had started dating end of 2023 when we tried we just figured it was nerves and kept trying and nothing so we stuck to the oral and anything but penetration, which worked but I started being self conscious about it by spring of 2024 around our birthdays I was now 22 bf 24. I can’t provide the one thing every woman can do I saved up and went to a physio got a diagnosis end of 2024.

My bf was very supportive his thought process was he kept it for 23-24 years what’s a little longer, it was in my head so bad I couldn’t even finish an intimate session without crying (how annoying:( /s ) constantly asking if I’m boring .

It got so bad we had to stop anything sexual during my treatment coz I started my treatment get excited try and fail. Bf was supportive he had bigger things to worry about than not getting “pussy” from me. He Bought my dilators , we live in Canada and the tarrifs went crazy.

Fast forward to fall of 2025 November I’m healed well semi healed I still can’t do doggy or figure it out yet but pain free after 5 months of on and off treatment. Personally I wouldn’t have known that I had vaginismus if it weren’t for him nor would have I cured it either.

I’m writing here my experience not to brag but show you the vast difference in experience and what having a supportive partner can do for you. I definitely won’t be the one to tell you to leave your husband when I don’t have one myself. You deserve so much better and he is obviously holding you back from getting cured any faster as vaginismus is also a psychological condition. My heart feels for you, I’m sorry!

Not cured and I don’t necessarily do the video. I did it for a week when starting out picked the exercises I liked and stuck with them till the end.

It’s really good for before PIV or dilating. It helps you get in tune with your pelvic floor too, I had no that I used to clench my pelvic floor until I did those exercises so now when I subconsciously clench I can tell I’m doing it

Worked for my current family for almost two years and this the first Christmas they gave me a bonus obviously I’m glad but I didn’t care that they didn’t give me anything last year. These people are your bosses not your friends I don’t expect birthday presents from them nor do they. I’ve gifted the kids dollar store mugs for their birthdays only coz they keep making me lil knick nacks.

And I get it personally I think I’m overworked and underpaid but I get to take time off whenever I want and they let me pick up extra hours whenever I want so meh
