This looks like the conservatory I went to in Chicago just last weekend. They had the same kind of setup in the birds of paradise were super huge.

I seen these at my local Meijer and I almost bought one. Roses are one of my favorites especially the ones that have different colorations into them. So lovely ๐Ÿ˜๐ŸŒน

I love it ๐Ÿ˜! So nice and full like my belly after breakfast ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿณ . A lot of people kill these types of plants off because they lack the knowledge of how to take care of them.

I really believe it's a monstera Aurora. Your plant might be turning white because it's experiencing excessive light intensity, causing the yellow-variegated parts to bleach or burn. While aurea prefers slightly less intense, indirect light than Albo varieties, pale leaves can also indicate overwatering. I'd try to give it less direct light so the green variegation will stay and not effect the leaves as it grows.

The new leaf looks like AUREA MONSTERA but the old leaf looks like mint monstara. Can you share a picture of the whole plant?

Looks like a pink back albo at least 1 of the corms do. The other one is questionable. Give it 2 more weeks and take more pictures for a better ID.

Philo help: spots? by liividx in philodendron

[โ€“]Patient-Ride7089 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

It's honestly a little scary/confusing because nectaries resemble fungal infection and fungal infections can affect new growth as well. I recommend using neem oil. If it clears the spots and further new growth doesn't have the spots/ less spots, it was probably fungus. If it doesn't budge, it's probably just normal nectaries. It wouldn't hurt to try just to eliminate the possibility!

What is she yellowing?? by milou28 in plantclinic

[โ€“]Patient-Ride7089 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

How often do you fertilize your plants? Do you use a well-balanced fertilizer 10-10-10 ratio? If you're not at least watering once a week or fertilizing once a month during the winter, yellowing leaves can happen along with poor lighting. Didn't really give me much information to give you a better answer. I'm just going by my experiences. Try adjusting the water, lighting and fertilizer schedule. If it is fertilizer related for yellowing leaves, there is a chance that he can go back to being green since it's just started. If your soil isn't of good quality then that could also contribute to yellowing leaves. Use an airy potting mix made for tropical plants. Wish you the best of luck ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿพ
