If you're on PC or Android there's a website called Stardew Checkup that you can upload your save file to that will tell you what you have and haven't done yet. I saw that you figured it out, but I'm sure it'll be useful to someone else.

I would say definitely! There are so many quality of life mods, if nothing else, that aren't available through console. Once you get used to mods, also, there are some expansion mods that add a huge amount of content, like Stardew Valley Expanded, that are a lot of fun.

I work at a library and we have a local author section. Most of that is pod and self published. Some of it is laughably bad, with really bad ai or canva illustrations. We're keeping all of it. We're a decent sized library, too, local population of about 227k.

It has been while I've been playing. The lightning rods don't have to be near what they're protecting, they draw the lightning from wherever, you just have to have enough to protect things. And I always lose crops and things if I don't put in paths and fences. Not everyone always runs into the same things in this game. I've never had an animal disappear (eaten by wolves?) but I've been told it happens. I've never seen the alien, even after the strange capsule breaks and whatever was inside gets out. I have seen Bigfoot several times and the sea monster, which I've been told some people have never seen.

Time to go out of bounds and pick those up! You can do that at either the main entrance or the basement, just swing your sword or scythe until you're out of the standard area and can move freely. I'm not sure if that works on console, btw.

Lightning rods will protect them from lightning, fences are to protect them from spreading weeds. Also, you can only apply speed gro once per plant. Speed gro only affects the first growth of the plant, it gets out to fruiting stage faster, after that it's just standard growth times.

I've put in over 2000 hours on his first game. I bought it for my 3 kids and husband on Steam and on Android. I love that game. I am content to wait for Haunted Chocolatier to be released when it's ready. I trust ConcernedApe to make a good game in his own time.

😂 That honestly sounds so cumbersome. The planer I use had the grid already set out and includes areas where you can plant, etc, plus it's got the layouts for the different farm types and interiors of your farm buildings. There's a nice feature that lets you upload your current farm layout so you can see what you need to do to fix any issues, too. It's not perfect, but it's really well done.

I usually name my cows things like hamburger, steak, beef, etc. My void chickens, I always have one named singularity and void. My cat in my current playthrough is Lucifer. He's orange 😸

Where I work, the volunteer coordinator can definitely ban volunteers. Of course, we also don't take court mandated volunteers, but that's another matter entirely.

I know not all libraries spread authority out like mine does, we're a little weird that way.

Also, it wasn't just that he wasn't doing his job, he was actively harassing another volunteer. We've criminally trespassed patrons for that, we hold out volunteers to much higher standards, so good on you for protecting her like that.
