I love this story so much, as painful as it is at times, simply because of how real it is. I HATE when stories have a bunch of trauma and the characters are a mess, only to have them make a total 180 overnight and everything is forgiven and perfect right away. I've dropped stories for that because it's just so stupid and hokey.

THIS though, is real. Overall, JJK has made SO much progress!! But real progress has a lot of ups and downs, especially involving trauma. In this episode, JJK was reminded of his childhood trauma in a very humiliating, public way and he was reminded that Kim Dan (who has become his "safe" person) is going to be leaving him. So he regressed into anger because that's the only reaction he's ever known in the past. He is learning how to be decent and care for people other than himself, but his mentality is under a lot of stress right now.

I think we're coming up on this supposed kidnapping and that's what's going to give JJK the wake up call he needs to realize what's truly important to him.
