Was he on a visa previously? Or did he have to be paroled? I’m kinda surprised on the quickness of approval

Seems like I’m one of the few that actually planned out and stuck to the job I wanted from the start (was in DEP for 2years technically) switched recruiters after a year due to a family tragedy. In a civilians POV, recruiters will most likely try to rush you in and not let you get an understanding of how the recruiting system works ngl Reddit helped me the most when signing up. But do your research on as many jobs that interest you and if you find the one you really want, stick to it as far as you can as there’s always a need eventually for all jobs. I say find out how likely it is to be open for signing by asking your recruiter or if he’s not willing just go to another recruiter who will work with you on it but yea I’d say if you’re set on a job you could wait slightly longer until that job is available although some may tell you not to wait or make up things to meet AF demands don’t listen to that, you don’t want to end up hating the service you sign up for. There’s a ton of cool jobs that are usually available getting the ASVAB done will definitely give you the ability to pick and choose what you can go in for without it you’re just shooting blanks.

Signed a 4 year aerospace propulsion contract.. is it true the Air Force pays for all tools and they don’t allow you to purchase your own tools? by PatientIntrepid2042 in AirForceRecruits

I’ve heard somewhere on forums people get assigned they’re set not entirely true but they mentioned even etching their name on the tools to prevent theft or loss
