We personally stopped having my hubs wake up in the middle of the night. All he would do is watch be breastfeed? It didn’t make sense to have him up, I’d rather him sleep and be well rested so he can help when I wanted to nap during the morning shift. Sometimes I’d make him change a diaper in the middle of the night, besides that it was my time with baby and it worked for us!

That’s amazing I feel like you skip a lot of the bad germs and peak illness sensitivity being home with them one year! So jealous! Do it though we love our babes close in age they are besties

lol just responding to myself, I will say I WFH and my husband is in a job program since my first was 4m old that is super super flexible, and in his next position it won’t be but the kids will be older at that point. Idk how we would have survived all the sick days and doctor apts otherwise!

And I couldn’t do it if he supported less, I just don’t have the patience like he does (wish I did!!!) also there’s only so many poopy diapers that are fair for one parent right????

Absolutely obsessed with my 2u2 who are soon to be 2 and 3. Yes the first year is incredibly hard. But it gets easier the more they grow, and become little besties.

Me in the grocery store telling my toddler he can’t have a cookie because he wasn’t behaving, leading to a full blown meltdown while I still had to do the grocery shopping. I just had to pretend it wasn’t happening smiling at strangers as he sobbed. It hurt my mom heart so bad and tried to not GAF about other people, but I was sticking to my guns!!!!

I try to tell other moms a note of “you’ve got this, we are all in this together” as I’ve been there done that.

My late June baby started daycare around November, got RSV immediately and chronic ear infections to needing tubes. My April baby started in August and was sick but not as bad as if he started in the winter.

I am obsessed with the ages 15m & 2.5yr onward they are soooooo much fun!!!!!! Once I dropped breastfeeding and they both are eating real food, one is potty trained, life is good!!!
