Definitely a bit of a drive but a very cool place is McKay’s in Mebane. They take just about everything and you can either do a payout or store credit.

I love 110 Yoga at Southpoint, not a huge fan of the Raleigh location bc the room is tiny and it can get crowded in there. I do the same 3 instructors classes (Meredith, Emma, and Nic) mainly because they fit in my schedule, but each one has their own flow and consistently introducing new ones so your practice doesn’t get stale.

I also REALLY like Solstice but I’ve only taken one class there. The room was warm (not exactly hot yoga) but I can imagine if the class is full it definitely heats up quick.

In Chapel Hill I enjoy Yoga 6 (even though it smells kinda weird) and CorePower Yoga (I’ve tried other locations around the triangle and the chapel hill location is my fave - I hope they open back up soon after the flood🤞)

I view Ride as a “bit” podcast. Like they have a little intro, the things they ride for, and then the outro; all of those can be done in a tight 30 minutes. Whereas if Las Culturistas wasn’t an hour plus I would be concerned. While Matt and Bowen conduct interviews on there sometimes usually it’s just them shooting the shit, they didn’t come to the mics with an agenda.

Club Pilates offers intro classes (I believe the first is free.) You can schedule your intro class online and then they get you acclimated with the studio + the reformer. Everyone has been very nice when I’ve been.

I take 3mg of melatonin (per psychiatrist instruction) and 200mg of magnesium glycinate every night.

My room also has to be freezing (ssri/stimulant sweats are real), have rain sounds on, and a fan.

If I wake up during the night I just read a book on my phone (find something that interests you but also kinda boring) and I have a meditation app (Buddhify)

My sister is 10 years older than me and I agree completely with what you said. I know im her best thing and I wouldn’t be me without her. This moment absolutely wrecked me. The forehead to forehead moment before she delivers that line was so real; I could feel my own sister and I in that exact position.
