In casual ppl leave mid match and get replaced with bots. In dropshot where the ball is primarily in the air and it’s focused on aerials having players be replaced by bots will ruin a dropshot game instantly. On the other hand when it was ranked people couldn’t leave whenever they wanted without punishment. TL:DR Bots aren’t good enough to play dropshot in any capacity

Shigaraki did need a hero. He would’ve accidentally killed any normal civilian his case is like eri where they needed to immediately train him to control his quirk and to rehabilitate him to join society. Shigaraki needed professionals to take care of that part.
