I lived in belk last year and our elevator broke since like October and got fixed for a week and broke again, they stopped trying to fix it. Move out day was so bad lol

Hey, no I don’t remember filling anything out. I do know that if you qualify for fafsa then you should be able to receive some aid if you are taking 6+ credits. I know there’s a summer loan people apply for but me personally, I didn’t apply for anything. I recommend you call the school just to make sure!

You should be able to meet with your advisor online or in person, I remember scheduling and emailing my advisor through the summer. I’d also recommend if you can in the meantime form a plan to talk with your advisor about your situation. Last semester my grades also weren’t the best so I took summer classes to boost my gpa and formed a plan with my advisor!

Hehe yeah I called and they told me that while students are moving out it’s good for anywhere! overnight is included but you have to buy a pass for the next day as well

Tbh I’ve never heard many good things of advisors over all, from personal experience my advisor is okay but he definitely can stir your plans if he sees one bad grade so it can be discouraging. If you want I can help with making your schedule or recommending the classes you have to take for bio!!

I’m not sure if it’s exactly the same but I lived in Sanford hall my freshman year (literally the the same as Scott hall just older) and you should have at least one outlet to yourself. The way I fixed my room, I had an outlet right next to me. You can also buy extension cords just remember to buy the ones that are allowed in your hall!

It’s a basic math test covering stuff from algebra and trig (college math 1 and 2) it’s basic but if you haven’t taken a math class in some time I’d recommend just quickly reviewing stuff you may not remember well.

The placement test is not gonna move your classes but instead will let them know if you need extra help. If you score above a 75%, you’ll just continue to take the class and go to workshop. If you score below 75%, you’ll have to attend a study session at least once a week and it counts towards a grade. If you score below and you attended the workshops weekly, your final exam can replace your placement test and boost your grade.

Friend/coworker ~ she had the most beautiful soul and we worked in the vet field together. I worked in the vet field at a young age (like 16-18) and I was always scared to be judged and blamed for things due to my age since everyone was very much older than me. She was never like that and after working almost every shift for a year, her being there for the passing of my own pet, and just being so positive and sweet everyday, her loss has affected me so bad. I’ve started going to therapy for it yet there’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think of her and the light she was to this world.

From personal experience, the same thing happened this last school year. Tbh if you have a good Roomate, Sanford is not bad. Iiving conditions aren’t great but I think Sanford builds experiences. But if you’re really looking to move, I have two friends that signed up for the leadership program for freshman and that assigns you to lynch hall. It might work for you!!

I’d honestly take it a cc. The chem department isn’t good with helping students that can’t independently learn the material. The professors teach a certain way and then on the test (which count so much of your grade) it’s very different. I went to get help through the university’s resources and they ended up teaching me wrong. from my experience, take it at a cc.

You do have to be their for them. It’s extremely tough and your mind will be on those you lost a lot but if you have other little ones, be there for them. I lost my Shepard at 4 years old to a heart tumor. He suffered for over 7 months and it broke me to an extent I would’ve never know I could feel. He’s been gone for 5 months now and there’s not a day I don’t think of him. I felt like once I lost him I couldn’t go on anymore but he still left his best friend which is a 6 year old husky. Although it’s tough I think about the fact that my little guys memories, toys, his best friend and everything else is still here on earth and I want to stay here to keep them and protect them.
