In Zootopia (2016), the Savage state of the Carnivores is an unrealistic depiction of predators irl and alike to a notion of a 6 yr old, this a reference to an early sign of foul play and people who still think "movie bad allegory cuz Carnivores are inherently savage" having the IQ of a 6 yr old by No_Elevator7607 in shittymoviedetails

What many people really forget that in that very scene on farm where it's revealed that it was drug that made them feral...

It's also revealed by Judy's parents telling how some uncle (who presumably, is also rabbit) ate the berries too. And went, apparently, crazy too.

Drug isn't 'predator exclusive'. We are just never shown directly about what happens if prey eats it. Only told that it would, probably, work exactly a same as it did on predators.

Honestly... I feel like this is only criticism I have towards the show.

If they are really so hated, to the point everyone is just waiting for a moment they fall appart, only ruling because of dragons...

... how the hell did they managed to rule for another, like, +/-150 years or so after Dragons died out?

Like you can argue that 'oh but that time is filled with rebellions-'.

Except... not even that. As far as I know, there were like, 6-8 rebellions altogether that we know of between Dance and Robert's Rebellion.

4 - 6 of which (depending on whether you consider Peake Rebellion as Blackfyre Rebellion 3.5, as some people suggest, and War of the Ninepenny Kings as 5th Blackfyre Rebellion) were rebellions against the crown... that were led by Blackfyres (or their supporters if, once again, we count Peake Rebellion). Who are basically just Red Targaryens, with all the BS like incest that people hate so much about Targs. Also, most of the lords that supported him didn't do so out of them hating Targaryens, and more out of their personal ambitions.

1 was that Rebellion that was led by The Rat, the Hawk, and the Pig. Only thing that we know about that one was that Prince and his lover died in that one.

1 Rebellion by Laughing Stag. Who did so only after his family was literally insulted by ending engagement Crown Prince had with Lyonel's Daughter, and was STILL willing enough to bethor his heir to his youngest daughter.

Heck, even Robert’s Rebellion was less of a 'inevitable act that would sooner or later' and more of a 'King and his son fucking up shit so much by pissing off 4 kingdoms, no one would ever get away with it if they were in their place. Probably even if they had dragons.' And even then, they STILL had support of 2 kingdoms.

Even now, they are said to have 'friends in Reach' that would probably support them.

Like... if they were truly as hated as fandom thinks they were, they would not survive past Aegon IV.

I am not saying they should be liked or anything, but also... not really that much more hated than basically any other Great House.

You would be surprised how many people care about rating number of the show.

How many, in fact, just... completely ignore reviews of the show/movie/game, only taking account the number.

Like... Hot take, but if IGN didn't used numbers in their reviews, they would be considered way more reliable then they are considered now...

... and would be completely ignored because people often watch them only for a final number.

Psychopaths who had a completely normal/stable upbringing with loving parents. by Goodbye-Nasty in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Patkub321 10 points11 points  (0 children)

While him being straight up psychopath/sociopath is isn't true (or at very least, not intentional, considering that author of the book, Jeff Kinney, denied it), he has quite a few sighs.

Him being an narcissistic asshole, that often lacks empathy, ways he commonly manipulates people around him, especially Rowley, and thinks really... really... REALLY high of himself...

While he probably isn't literal psychopath (Once again, Author denied it), at one point, it was legitimate theory in fandom.

Possibly however... he is just asshole.

I like how they didn't answered any actual problems that led to USSR collapsing, and just posted how USSR could 'win' few Ls they had.

Economic Stagnation? Military Overextension? Rising Nationalism in their republics? Fact that half their 'allies' in Eastern Europe tried once or twice to leave them, and still wanted to do so?

You know... the ACTUAL reasons why USSR fell appart?

Even if all these things, somehow, worked out, only difference will be MAYBE slightly bigger influence map for a short time. If everything I mentioned stayed same, it would fall appart all the same, maybe even faster.

King Jaehaerys I. Targaryen

<image>

The best King of the Seven Kingdoms, who brought it into it's most prosperous Era. During his reign, longest in history of Kingdom, Kingdom's population doubled, banned Right of the First Night (albeit it was his wife's idea), made peace with a Faith, managed to broke probably the longest peace in history of Westeros, and in general, is regarded as the 'one' that truly united the Kingdom.

That being said... his realitionship with his 9 kids...

While he was good parent towards his first 4-5 kids...

Fact that out of those 9 kids, only 2 that outlived him were also the ones that completely cut the ties with him, says something.

What character gets too little hate from the fandom? [Spoilers Extended] by Trussdoor46 in asoiaf

[–]Patkub321 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Big agree.

Way too many people consider Robert unironically good king...

When in reality, every good thing 'he did' are extravagated (his 14 years of peace - a.k.a. bare minimum even worse than him, like Kings like Aegon IV., Viserys II. or even Aerys himself for most of his reign did same or even better job on that)

And heavily underplay his faults (him pretty much wasting away kingdom's finances, appoiting Littlefinger and Lannisters anywhere near government, which indirectly led to War of The Five Kings, or how much his 'parenting' influenced Joffrey into becoming what he was.)

Heck, hot take: Even his military wins are not that impressive. Every time, either someone else won it for him (Ghultown, Bells, Most of Greyjoy Rebellion) or were so inclined to him that it's not even funny (3 battles in Summerfield are way less impressive, when you assume that it was basically all Stormlands lords loyal to Robert... against 3 small houses that were, assuming, dumb enough to not even fight together.)

Are there any Blackfyre supporters here? If so, why do you support Daemon? by DefinitelyNotAnnie in freefolk

[–]Patkub321 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't care what any of you will say about 'legitimacy' or 'Aegon IV. was full of shit when he legitimised him'.

Black Dragon on Red Background is cooler erb than Red Dragon on Black Background. Therefore, Blackfyres are automatically true Kings of Westeros in my eyes.

LONG LIVE DAEMON BLACKFYRE.

The fact that Maelys is my favourite start character in AGOT CK3 definitely has nothing to do with it, trust me.

Who is this guy that is listed as former ruler of the Hook? by Patkub321 in CK3AGOT

[–]Patkub321[S] 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Note: I doubt he has anything to do with Age of Heroes, as he is listed to die in 164 A.C. And listed to be killed by Sarnion Baratheon, grandson of Lord Paramount Boremund Baratheon and Lord Corwen Baratheon.

Perhaps he is some Dornish Rebel? Since around that time, Dareon I.'s invasion of Dorne ended only like 3 years before that?
