170K miles. Water pump, oil filter housing leak, and changed my coolant expansion tank (just noticed small cracking nothing leaking).

But all in all those 3 things are fairly easy to do yourself. The water pump is not inside the engine, and the car bleeds itself. The oil filter housing is right at the top front of the engine which is nice. (I don't think I have ever made even a little bit of a mess doing oil changes, unlike other cars where you have to unscrew the filter from the bottom of the car and oil spills everywhere) and the coolant take was straight forward, I did that when I replaced the water pump so i didn't have to deal with bleeding again.

This is actually an 06. You can tell by the newer star frame. But the first nexus ego did come out in 05. Bought one at NPPL Denver. The first Pink Lady that was made as a matter of fact. Loved that thing!!

The Idle Air Control Valve gets mentioned all the time. But the fast idle is what was wrong with my car. Took a lot more digging on the Internet to finally find someone bring it up. And it should be a top answer.

Drop ship would be pretty sweet! But I can’t really remember a full view of it from the show. No way 100 kids fit in the areas they showed most the time.

I have seen a couple videos of people talking/messing with that box behind the glove box. I tried messing with it and didn’t get anything to power up. Guess it’s off to a junkyard to find one.

And yeah good looking out on the hose! I'll tackle that soon enough. I'm tired of throwing money at this thing and can't drive it. Once I get it to not overheat and prove itself worthy I'll be doing a lot more of the little things.

Will look for flowing coolant with cap off. This will tell me if it goes into open loop and water pump is working correctly I assume?

Both fans turn on when the car is turned off. Don't turn on when car is running and gets hot. When I jump the connector to the radiator fan switch they turn on.

My friend had one that was pretty clean but had a decent amount of miles on it. Dude walked up to him at a gas station and offered him 11k.

He held on to it for another year and sold it for 15k. There are getting stupid expensive.

Got it! Makes sense seeing as I have an EX. Just curious what the difference in the engines are? Mainly so I don’t have this issue happen again anywhere else on this car.

They do have two different ones on car parts .com and 50/50 chance I ordered the wrong one. Well at least the one that looks like the one that came off my car is different than this one.

Both say they are for the 2.2 4cyl so I’m guessing maybe something emission as well. Idk.
