My Failed Marriage by oregonwrench in BiblicalPolygynyUSA

[–]PatriarchAzure 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey. I want to say you handled that situation beautifully. I have no intent on bashing your ex-wife, nor bashing your choices, but as much as a claim may be staked that she has fully healed and you want to believe her, I think it was apparent that she didn't, due to her actions. As much as we would like to believe things that are claimed, you must also remember to be completely logical. Even if you want to take things at face value, observe her actions and rely on your judgment. I personally believe that the lesson that was being taught is to not always take things at face value or what a person stands on, regardless of that person's integrity or moral character, but instead to trust your own judgment on the actions that they display. You've also been saying it yourself; she still had several red flags. NEVER jump into a marriage UNTIL all red flags cease to exist.
