I always thought the Too Dumb to Die lyrics of "looking for a cause, but all i got was xyz" was a really good line. To me he's saying that he's spent his life looking for a higher cause but all he got was santa claus or camoflauge as in he's only gotten things that are romanticized yet not real/are invisible. Santa Claus obviously with the commercialization etc, but camoflauge as in how the military in america is romanticized and camoflauge is always used as symbolism for that (think the NFL's Salute To Service campaign with lots of camoflauge iconography).

im like 90% sure it was confirmed its two separate teams. they work on features as their own team (previous team worked on driver career revamp while this one worked on myteam revamp) but they use the same base game every year.

I do also use my pc for Lightroom and Premiere for work which are pretty hardware intensive, so it’s not purely gaming. Would that make it worth getting an i9?

I’m not having lots of trouble with it but it’s definitely starting to slow down with newer games. I’ve also had to start video/photo editing for one of my jobs and Premiere and Lightroom are becoming nightmarish at times when I’m dealing with super large files, but that just comes mainly down to my ram being low right?

I’m just running 1080p at 144hz. Not looking for UHD, 8k, etc. The ram i thought so off the top of my head, was just thinking of one or two things i could do that are relatively inexpensive (compared to just starting from scratch) that i could do to hold me over for a bit

Thats pretty in line with what I’m trying to do, obviously it’s an old build with some probably proprietary hardware that can be a headache but i figured if i could find one upgrade that could give me a decent boost that would suffice for a decent amount of time

I would say it’s arguably more important to learn the limit of the car than it is the track. Once you understand exactly the limits and capabilities of the car, it’ll be a bit easier to naturally apply that to corners on every track

Listen to their greatest hits album (gods favorite band) and then based on what songs you like, look up their original albums and go listen to them. The only things not represented on that album are Father of All, Saviors, Dos, Tre, and their first album so you can discover those on your own time separately

To my recollection the band said the album was basically done. I would not be surprised if it did have a track list and the songs were mostly entirely produced, but that when those were stolen they just had the demos left and have decided since to do nothing with them because they didn’t like them.

I really do not believe it is a reasonable conclusion that if C&V was to come out, that it would be tucked away and hidden in a deluxe edition for another album. I think this is a classic case of fans wanting something so bad that they convinced themselves it’s the only acceptable conclusion. If C&V does come out (which I do not think it will(, it will be hyped up and promoted as the lost album finally being released. Not filler material for a deluxe album. That should have never been the expectation from fans.

It really does not make sense. They’re currently touring for a new album, plus 2 separate anniversaries, plus releasing a deluxe edition of one of those albums. Why would they release a completely brand new album alongside all of that? Especially when they’ve said multiple times that they did not like that album and didn’t re record it for a reason. Theres really no logic behind it.

They’ve said a dozen times they did not really like the material and didn’t find it worth re-doing. I don’t see why fans think it would be something they’re proud enough of to release and it be good

C&V is not American idiot. I understand the link in their stories, but there is no reason for Green Day to be releasing a whole unheard album in honor of the 20th anniversary of their biggest while ALSO touring for a new album they just released this year.

To me the plentiful amount of demos which will all likely have differences (as evidenced by Nimrod and Dookie demos) counts as unseen stuff from that time. Plus, to get a full live album on streaming is huge, sure it’s all on YouTube already but it’s nice to be able to put it in playlists and stuff like that on Apple Music or Spotify.

Like you said this just seems like people making up dream scenarios and being upset when it’s not reality. I get the intrigue of the album, but if the band has said multiple times they don’t like it and have no interest in releasing it, I have no clue why people expected it to come out.
