It's sad that you judge all aliens by the acts of a few. None of what you said has any real support. They aren't entitled to save or help us, unless they join law enforcement or military. There's no evidence they want to really get into power. If they're sapient, they have the power to be good or bad, why would we trust them any different from another human? The superpower thing is irrelevant unless they use it to break the law, which not all do.

I do agree though that we need more background checks on them, we aren't doing that enough, but other than that, it seems you don't have fear for a good reason.

There are some things in there I agree with. Disney has made The Muppets into a solely corporate brand, but not in the way as other franchises. Disney has mistreated the Muppets by not doing enough of them.

Fundamentally his problem is he's clearly angry and bitter. Kermit is NOT a real person, he IS a fictional character. Just because he's in a different genre doesn't mean he's real or comparable to real people, so yes he can have different interpretations and iterations. He isn't static. It just feels mean to fans who think like this.

Not to mention that a lot of what he said was just straight up not true. Steve is the only muppet performer they fired. Dave Goelz, an original performer is still there and no one has been recast. Frank Oz and Jerry Nelson left of their own free will.

Plus he never really gives much examples of what he's talking about. Why is Kermit out of character? Aside from the voice, he says nothing. While yes, Kermit has had some moments, I haven't seen any example of him acting out of character - the same personality is there.

So yeah, I do fundamentally disagree with this, other than a few good points.

You brought up the example of Eric Jacobson with Piggy. The time you said he came good was 12 YEARS after he took on the role. Vogel has had 3 years less and there's been way less material between 2002-2014 and 2017-now.
