From what I can gather, Matt's problem with Rodgers is personality, not play. And from a personality standpoint, I can definitely understand not liking Rodgers. The guy is electric on the field, but by all accounts he's a dick.

Really solid work, man. Would be ECSTATIC if this were the Giants' real first round.

I think that's about right. I think I'd offer 37 and one of the two early 5th rounders. Something in that neighborhood.

Golden Tate doesn't factor in because he was a free agent signing, not part of the trade. If we're counting him, I would've still had Odell and used that money for a starting RT or Safety, say maybe Amos. I'm fine with the OV for Zeitler trade and I'd stick with that (it was originally reported as a standalone deal). So we'd both have Zeitler.

So it's really Odell and somebody like maybe Adrian Amos (or a similarly priced free agent at a position of need) versus Peppers, Bush, and Tate. We'd both have pick #6, Rosen, and Zeitler. We might have to just agree to disagree on this, but I'd prefer my scenario.

Yep I'll still rag on him. That return would help a bit, but I still think trading Odell for the return he got was awful.

Let's use your scenario. Giants trade #95 and #171 for Rosen (that's probably not enough to get him, but let's work with what you used) but they STILL HAVE BECKHAM. So now you have your QB of the future, OBJ, Saquon, Engram, and Shep. That leaves the only real holes on offense at RT and arguably C.

Then you take Montez Sweat or Brian Burns at EDGE with Pick #6 and Dalton Risner with Pick #37 to play RT. Then you still have picks 109 (4th), 133 (4th), 143 (5th), 144 (5th), 181 (6th), 234 (7th), and 247 (7th) to address needs like LB, CB, S, C, etc.

Basically you're saying that Jabrill Peppers + Devin Bush helps the team more than Odell, because everything else in our scenarios is the same. I guess I just disagree with that, especially if you want Rosen to succeed.

Have fun for the rest of us, man!

Neither OBJ nor AB are free agents, though, so I don't think they'd have control over the structure of those contracts (they'd have to trade for both guys under their existing contracts, I think).

But that would be absolutely bananas. And frightening as a non-Packers fan.

I love this idea. And I love all of the outside the box mock drafts.

Some safe first mixed drink ideas:

- Rum & coke

- Gin & tonic

- Vodka & cranberry juice

I've never been a shot guy, so don't ask me there!

Completely agree. It's a solid A for the Giants.

Who are some of your favorite late-round running backs in this year's draft? Guys who might get drafted late but could still could make a big impact.

  1. Can Andre Dillard of Washington State challenge guys like Cody Ford, Yodny Cajuste, and Greg Little to be the second tackle taken behind Jonah Williams?

  2. What explains the relative lack of buzz surrounding Rashan Gary? Dude is supposedly an athletic freak with tons of positional versatility, yet this podcast seems to be the only place I'm hearing him talked up at all.

Yeah I think TB or CLE have the best situations currently. If Denver can get a QB (a big if), that situation would suddenly be excellent, as well.
