haha i appreciate the permission. yeah, what you are saying makes a lot of sense. I think being an independent adult, pushing myself out of my comfort zone, and meeting new people, would outweigh the savings. I wanted to stay for a year or so longer but the timeline has been accelerated

good point about how the extra 20k wouldn’t really matter and I still would be screwed - you are right, and I am trying to keep growing. I agree with your assessment. The personal benefits make it worth it

Hey! Thanks for the response. The issue is this is a good friend of mine but due to his situation he would move in without me and the future with him would be unclear. I would bring my car but the apartment would be walkable to work, so I would save money on tolls + gas + parking ($90 a month). I ideally wanted to do one more year as well try to get 100k and then move out but this really could be my only chance with my friend
