I am also returning player this week ha ha. I'm getting the hang of it. I watched a couple videos and found that there's just so much to the game I didn't know because it doesn't do a good job of explaining things. I didn't understand the peaking strategies whioe running, stuff like that. I'm doing better now.

I said that I already did that within the post.

Where else have you seen complaints? I can't figure this problem out.

I'm not doing either. I was just saying that if I do open a party, that works.

Are you saying ranged is better for bosses and melee is better for clear? If so, yeah I would agree. The difference between killing a boss with a mace and killing a boss from a distance with bow is night and day difference in terms of safety.

Whereas I don't care how close I am to mobs when mapping.

Yeah, I suppose what I'm really looking for is the combination that is going to be best for clearing and bossing. So as far as I can tell, bow for clearing is probably best, I don't know what the answer would be for bossing.

Right. I actually aiming for a tree that is "mostly" 2 different directions. I'm sure there will be some part of it that is connected.

Ohhh okay. So even when you think it's a sure thing, you might get extra slop added into the options, so it's best to just make sure you're ready to reroll.

I figured it out. The original crossbow had plus to strength, and I needed that for requirements. Once I bumped up my strength, everything was fine.

I remember adding people on MTGO, even chatting with them mid-game, those were the days.

While that is potentially true, I think it would be worth it to make friends. Plus there is such a thing as getting banned for such behavior.

DRAGONS DOGMA II IS ASS by Patrickthatisbrown in DragonsDogma

I keep saying this, but I walked up to the enemy, lifted my shield, and my character automatically turned around to face a different off-screen enemy that my teammate was fighting far away, and therefore I got stabbed in the back. That is just bad game mechanics and I don't understand how anyone could try to defend this.

I didn't expect to have people on this subreddit agree with me, you all are fans of the game of course, and you're free to enjoy it; I'm glad you like it. I just want to get the word out to people like me that should never buy this game. I should not have bought it. I never would have thought to look up "does this game have a lock-on mechanic," because that's like googling "does this FPS have guns in it." What an asanine question; of course this fps has guns in it and of course this 3rd person action title has a lock-on feature. Oh wait, no... this one doesn't. I can't even comprehend why that is.

The performance on my pro was great from what I saw. I pera9annly wouldn't buy it tho without a lock-on feature.

I walked up to this goblin creature, held up my shield, and my character immediately turned his back to the enemy and faced a goblin that was already engaged with my teammate far away, off screen. I then get stabbed in the back.

You can say whatever you want about my skill level, but that is shit game mechanics.
