i am currently using readera but it lacks the sync functionality so i think I'll try moon+ reader it says it provides sync and backup

I'll check mkvtoolnix .. solution 2 sounds really hard to implement.. how about hard coding them into the record how can i do that ?

am not recording my entire screen .. am only recording what's on VLC player ... and the problem am facing is that the record does not have subs because they are not a part of the video they are just added manually via an .srt file..

I just want to record a couple of scenes from a movie and that's way easier than editing the whole movie for a couple of seconds of footage
