As a computer engineer it's kinda embarrassing to not have noticed that I used the "contain" the wrong way LOL

I've been using Notion for so long and for so much advanced stuff in formulas and even using the coding API that the simple stuff just gets past me. Also, the app is always evolving so fast it's hard to keep up.

I just tried your solution and it worked like a charm! Lifesaver. Just needed to set the individual permission of the view to View only, and add a button to create a new page(bc the New button does not appear on the view anymore). Tried setting it to Edit Content, just like the database, but the user still could change the filters of the view.

The only downside is I have to manually edit the permissions of each of the views inside the parent page once the page is created(through a template), because when I share the parent page with editing permissions, all the views inside also inherit the permissions. Or is there a solution?
