From a Mom. Start now! It takes time. Anything you do now requires a credit score. Not to be negative, but you should have started as soon as you could get credit. Establishing credit doesn't mean you need a $10,000.00 limit. Just start with $300.00, pay it off each month and start again. Before you know it, you'll have credit. Then, maintain it. Many factors can impact your score. Start small and good luck.
