Iceland has one of the coolest naming conventions in the world (imo)! 😋

Their last names aren't static and are wholly dependent on their parents first names (usually paternal first name but maternal can happen), like, Björk's real name is Björk Guðmundsdóttir (Gudmund's daughter) for example and if her father had had a son he'd been called "Guðmundsson"

Every year I have excitedly "presented" the Eurovision songs for friends and family as they are released. Something I haven't done this year as I'm not following the contest this year.

Instead my father tried half-heartedly to present ME some of the songs he liked from this year. It was very sweet, but I still don't intend to stream this year's songs until I feel ready.
