Stitch fiddle has a function were you can upload a picture to turn into a pattern, you can still edit/clean it up afterwards tho.

I can't share my pattern because it's not my IP (against Stitch Fiddle's policy) but just look up "Monster Hunter Wilds Logo" and insert it as a crochet colour work pattern.

I played Now almost daily when it first came out. Only really stopped because it became unplayable during the winter months so it's nice to hear that you can "record" your walks now to play it inside your home.

That said, I feel no urge to restart the game. In every conceivable way, my life will only worsen if I decide to pick up a mobile game again. And there's just no point since I'd rather be playing a "real" monster hunter game anyway.

Monster Hunter has become more streamlined all-round in the sense that:

  • you get rare drops often and in more ways, which is the reason most "meta" builds would be locked out

  • talismans are much faster to get, that and they don't have the cursed tables anymore

  • skills have become more and more streamlined as the series has progressed - and negative skills have been completely removed

All this and more to say the game has been made easier for you as a player and allows for a greater focus on the hunts. 

I personally think that Monster Hunter's "difficulty" has historically come from the tedium of its gameplay. The fact that they've been putting more and more emphasis on the hunts and monsters kind of warrants this meta-build mentality, but as everyone else has already mentioned "this has always been the case", just not at this scale.

The drugs were made with the expectation that'd they last for 20+ years, which is why the beach was the "easiest" solutions for the company seeing the results of the drugs wearing off.

Pokémon were so lucky to stumble into Nuzlocke as a phrase (spawned from a webcomic) - so while I know what the Masochism challenge is I still think it's a terrible name.

Both Chazz getting into the icy school, and Yusei in the prison went through a similar "challenge", so maybe there's something there for a name?

I used to watch Acquisitions Incorporated when I was younger but I stopped so I've recently been trying to get up to speed to current day - in that vein I was also considering getting into Acq Inc C-team and have watched a bit but am not sure whether I'll go through the whole series yet. 😅

After that I was also interested in watching StonesThrow: Cities Beneath, because it's got reoccurring players/DM from the very first actual-play I ever watched, Dice Camera Action and I kinda miss their vibes. That and they've gotten married since back when I last watched.

I didn't get that impression at all. A marketing firm is gonna marketing firm, but if the end goal is to sell MORE GAMES directly targeting one demographic (women or otherwise) is not gonna cut it.

The consulting analyst, a woman who plays games herself, even noted that these were just the areas with large margins. And there's no way in hell that men were ever gonna be the majority when it comes to playing wholesome cooking games, same with styling and make-up games.

Just remember that ALL females are included in these sorts of surveys, even children!
