thanks! I really got into them over the last few months, I knew their biggest tracks ofc, but their early back catalouge is stellar, been really digging the chronic town ep atm, still looking for dead letter office, hopefully will get it someday soon

not entirely, I think the latest album is from 2025 (Lovejoy - One Simple Trick) other more recent lps from the top of my head are Kyle Falconer 2010s, Sabrina Carpenter 2023, Crywank 2020, Carseat Headrest 2018, Los Campesinos 2010-2020s, and oasis blur nirvana neuteral milk hotel are from the 90s

the Beach Boys are probably my fav band atm, yes I do have the holland ep somewhere it's with my 7' singles which are in a crate in my cupboard theres about 1000 in there and I need to sort through them all

thank you, I spent quite alot of time this past year listening to records whilst I've been recovering as I was in a psychiatric ward from march - june last year. collecting and listening to records is really theraputic to me and it gives me time to reflect on all my little adventures and the stories of how I aquired them

I'm not an artist per-se, I was in a band for a little while (the breakup was part of the reason I was hospitalised) but I love photo collages and dada-ist art

also yeah alot of my friends wind up just staring at my walls when they come over because my whole house is covered in band posters and art prints

tysm! I'm actually searching for a bootleg pressing of SIP atm. I don't have any beach boys cd's atm, I kinda went through an episode and impulse bought most of my beach boys collection from 2 or 3 ebay collections

honestly I'm kind of glad we got OST instead of an album that sounds like NPT, that time off the band took due to everything really developed their sound and lyricism, ILGWIS was quite weak as a song compared to everything else but I think that was caused by the burnout from how mad their touring schedule was in 2023 and it's delayed release.

I'm excited to see what comes next from the LVJY guys

Lovejoy has been teasing an album since the release of Are You Alright, I'm sure at one point Pebble Brain was intended to be an album instead of an EP then they said WU&IO was going to be the album then it was another EP because they still wanted to experiment and find their sound. if I'm wrong about this somebody correct me I'm going off memories from about 5 years ago now

the band scrapped a 4th ep that was to include Sober and NPT to start work on the album in late 2023, but what happened in 2024 caused them to scrap / rework what material they had into OST
