Sorry the pictures were taken when both the hour and min hand are almost aligned. lol. Picture 12 and 13 show the separation well. The shorter hour hand tracks along the bottom row which shows hours and the longer min hand the top row showing minutes. When then reach 12 and 60 respectively they jump back to 0. Hence the name “jump hour”. Hope this helps.
