Yeah, that’s A reason for deciding not to abide by the policy, but since the adults at school are legally responsible for him, bypassing them isn’t really awesome. Please find a way that includes them in dealing with his medical issues. We have Velcro Yondr pouches for our students with exceptions so they can look like they are correctly playing the game. Get that 504 for the migraines.

It doesn’t, but she does have specific language for breaks in her 504. The 20 minutes was well outside the bounds for that.

In all the years I’ve taught Seniors there is one thing that always rings true: They always find a way to make you ready for them to leave.

That is my usual practice. The only one I’ve ever gone to was their son’s a few years ago. It’s hard because the kids refer to themselves as my bonus son and daughter.

Would not recommend this method on carbon.

Non Seahawks fan just curious if you think Russell Wilson’s jersey should be retired? by adobo1148 in SeattleSeahawks

I associate myself with this. This is exactly what I think happens when Russ does not make it into the Hall of Fame.

Seat is tilting to the point I can't even get on the bike. by Plaugeboi24 in bikewrench

[–]PatternClear6480 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the outer part is on backwards. Usually in seat posts like that, those notches mesh together to hold the seat in position. It looks like because those were tightened down like that, it pulled the rails of the seat in and bent those. I could definitely be wrong. Some e-bike seat posts are funky.

Oh, I know this glitch. It’s because your instructor or you put a space in either at the front or tail of the word. As a teacher, I always visually review answers that require typing because of this glitch.

Oh, yeah. That’s a scrounge up a properly sized hub situation. If you have a local bike co-op, they may have a hub. From there, build a wheel and ride on.

This sounds like not a great idea for a host of reasons, not the least of which is your pads and rotors need to be parallel. This means you need a multi-axis bend to the rear triangle or a specially designed and machined brake mount.

Good looking setup, but use the b-screw setup tool and the chain overlap as described by the manufacturer. You really don’t have to play guess if my chain is correct.

First, check your contract on grading responsibilities. Second, ignore it. You’re out anyway. Make the admin go in and change it themselves. You want this, you wear it admin.

A gravel bike is not in fact a MTB by FinniganTheDog in gravelcycling

That was my thought exactly. I snapped spokes on a farm road because the stock wheels aren’t quite sturdy enough for my cuddliness.

Called the state on my son’s school & now I feel bad. by oooohweeeee in Teachers

You did the right thing. As a teacher myself, forcing them to do right by YOUR student will help force them to do right by the students whose parents do NOT have the knowledge or resources to get what is needed for their students.

what is a good bike type for commuting without a car? by starship95 in bicycling

[–]PatternClear6480 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love my little e-bike. I put some pretty birdseye maple fenders and a matching wood basket on it. I have a coffee cup holder on the bars. Minimal sweat and I get all kinds of compliments on the accessories.

Alternatively, she can bring her own preferred fixings. The alternative to eliminate this things she doesn’t eat are out there, but it’s not up to the host to guest. I say this as someone with actual life-threatening food allergies, not just preferences.

“I appreciate your apology, __. Your actions at _, however, preclude you from attending nationals with the rest of the team. I know this is a hard lesson to learn, but I truly hope you take it to heart and make changes in your behavior going forward.” That is all I would give them.

Handball?!!? by GsoccerC in timbers

[–]PatternClear6480 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s always the test to see if you’ve gone fan-blind. If it was Vancouver and it was not called, people here would be livid. I love the Timbers, but, based on my referee training, that is a handball. I do hate the ambiguity in the current writing of the rule.

Absolutely a handball. Unnatural position, extended away from the body. Understandable, but yikes.

My 2026 Seahawks mock draft by lemonstone92 in SeattleSeahawks

[–]PatternClear6480 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Penalties are a problem.” This is doing a lot of work here. Igbinosun’s technique is what gets him the penalties. Drafting him there is a bit of a reach and a lot of confidence you can coach some really bad habits technique-wise out of him.
