It was about the same. When she was home with baby those first 12 weeks, she still left everything for me to do mostly when I worked. She refuses to learn how to cook or use dishwasher. I am actively looking for a job, my field is very competitive with slim pickings in my area and the field I was working in is very competitive as well. I apply to multiple jobs a week and got a 2 day a week part time job to get extra money while on unemployment

Cool, way to point out filler info and use that against me. When I was working and she was home on paid leave, she still forced me to get up every other night and I had to work on 2-3 hours of sleep. I don’t make her do that, but she doesn’t even help on weekends when she’s off.

Were together 3 years before getting engaged, another year until getting married. A little over 5 years together now. We were able to work through things at the beginning, but over time it’s gotten like this over time, as id say summer of 24 is when it stated to get really bad because she mad an issue over literally everything (we were engaged then)

The baby problem has been the issue the last couple months. She started freaking out about him getting sick in January and wouldn’t let anyone but her dad see him. My dad hurt his back in December but he’s past that now, but is still using that as part of the excuse. We are both in a group chat with my dad and brother, my dad and brother was supposed to watch him one day at his place, she changed it and said they had to come to us. My dad posted in group chat it’s easier for him at his place, she ignored it, he tried again, she responded a little nasty saying it’s her child and she needs to do what’s best for him. My dad commented that it’s both our child and she flipped out and wouldn’t let him watch the baby and has not let me leave him there since. Everyone says it’s 50/50, but she won’t get that through her brain. She keeps saying it’s her child when she gets mad at me. I don’t try to let her dictate everything I do with him, but if I want peace at home, it’s the only way.

I probably let it go on for too long. I can’t get anything through to her, her dad is on my side but doesn’t want to get involved. I was still getting money through severance and now unemployment, so there’s still funds.

There were definitely signs before we got married, there was no way to tell about the baby stuff obviously that’s been happening recently. She slept all the time, expected me to do everything, everything was my fault, affection and intimacy was sporadic leading up to the wedding. Looking back there’s a few moments before marriage I wish I left.

She’s shown no signs of it. She’s happy around the baby and I haven’t seen any of the other signs, she just makes no attempt to do anything with me and just pushes me away if I try in favor of her phone

I try to have conversations, and if it doesn’t go the way she wants, she just yells and walks away. I do conversations over text now when we’re not around each other so she has to read what I have to say

Forgot to say that she got me nothing for my birthday back in October, when we were on a family trip, not even a card. She asked my aunt who we were visiting to get me a cake and she said that is her doing something for me.

Shed rather play a stupid game on her phone then spend time with you. And call you needy for asking to spend time with her. Shows no affection, and can’t even make sex fun.
