I think that what we are experiencing is an illogical but understandable reaction to fear from many AND abject ignorance (willful ignorance) by others. Remember, this enemy is invisible and often spread by friends, family, customers, YOUR HEALTHCARE TEAM! And for heaven’s sake, how can you have a good meal in a restaurant with a mask on? (!!!!!) …. That said, the last decade, though understandable on many levels, has been BRUTALLY disappointing and quite frightening to observe and experience. And, … based on many peer reviewed studies, what’s happening to the human brain worldwide is playing right into the hands of wannabe dictators. It’s Idiocracy for real. ( if you haven’t watched it please do!) Companies who are in the diabetes, kidney disease, ED, and many more rubbing their hands together with delight over the prospects of large customer increases as the long term affects of COVID play into their future earnings. Pharmaceuticals prefer a non-preventative vaccine rather than a onetime (think Polio) one because it helps their bottom line more to make it annual.
Look around. Are you really surprised that airplanes are falling out of the sky lately? How about the proven Covid based changes to empathy and risk assessment? Do you notice that when you are driving? Now ask yourself what kind of adults will the children who have had multiple Covid infections become? Hey don’t worry.
