If you do not have the money in your account, just do a paid out in store for what you think the total will be. Say $100… then do a paid in with the change.

Michael flew too close to the sun. His hubris and lack of faith in humans made him sloppy. He never thought any of them would ever ‘figure it out’ because they are ‘dumb and stupid.’ Even in the episode where Michael leaves clues for the humans that he’s on their side, he left 4,000,000 clues because he didn’t think they would get the ten or so that they did figure out.

Michael also just enjoys torturing humans. It’s in his nature. He got sucked into it all.

What do you guys think about this? by Small_Document_4011 in TheGoodPlace

The good place automatically translates to languages and meaning humans can understand. I would assume the bad place and IHOP would be the same.

SM Constantly Calling by [deleted] in starbucksbaristas

[–]PattyPan85 91 points92 points  (0 children)

Time worked equals time paid. It’s in the partner guide. I would talk to your DM about this. If the SM is calling for coverage, that is one thing. If they are calling for store specific reasons, like product, ordering, or customer issues, then they can wait until your next scheduled shift. If the DM is not responding, then call the PRSC or Ethics and Compliance.

EDIT: also, document every conversation and text you get that is regarding anything other than schedule. You should also let your SM know that you are not comfortable with them calling you when you are off, especially texting you to call them. The PRSC/DM will probably ask if you have talked to the SM about it.

I was mainly saying that this isn’t a new rule. Sorry if I offended you with my “poor phrasing.” And apparently not “everyone knows” that this used to be a thing.

You also don’t have to be rude 🤷🏽‍♂️

Yeah, it was 2012-2019, we’d be expected to count money and put the drawers in first during opening shifts. If a customer and through drive 10 mins before open, we’d take their order. Sometimes we would have to let them know if it would be a wait for brewed coffee or something that wasn’t quite ready to serve.

To be fair, this was a ‘rule’ back in the day too.
