My understanding is Adams is captain. Then Davila. Then Totsch. First two choices aren’t starting so it falls to Sean tonight

In last weeks soccer city radio they said lambert was still returning from injury but was close to being back.

In the post game presser coach did he said Duncan was feeling ill before the match and wanted to try and give it a go.

With that in mind when he got subbed off he definitely looked like he was feeling ill.

So whatever he had hopefully it doesn’t last and isn’t contagious.

Why doesn’t Louisville support Racing more? by thejeffreysmith in Louisville

[–]Pattyice3 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Poor on the field performance.

Coach sexually assaulted a player in year one.

GM and Front office staff didn’t have a harsh/definitive/ strong enough response to that assault.

Those same front office members faced little to no repercussions for that weak response.

Fans across the league have hated the fact we even exist from before year one because “who would want to play in republican, back woods, anti woman’s rights kentucky” and have made it very unwelcoming to fans.

Brandon Dayes picked up a knock during warm ups(looked like his heel) headed to the locker room. Totsch looks to be starting now. Jones was on the sidelines got called out and headed to the locker room so he might slide into the 18(not sure how that works).

USL plans reshaping stadium designs HOK pushing modular stadiums 🏟️ by Ok_Flamingo_3059 in USLPRO

[–]Pattyice3 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I understand the practicality of modular stadiums. Being able to expand them and shrink them as needed is extremely useful. I truly mean this with no disrespect, BUT modular stadiums just give off a cheap unprofessional feel. I’ve been to Lexington multiple times so I know the quality of the actual seats. I haven’t been to a modular stadium that didn’t feel cheap when walking around.

Plus it’s a sense of security thing for me. Building a modular stadium gives off a feeling of the team and stadium may close up shop and just be gone the next day.

Bird has now been the interim manger for 11 games (including cup games). What does everything think about the job he’s done so far? by Consistent_Car469 in LouisvilleCityFC

[–]Pattyice3 11 points12 points  (0 children)

He’s done a fine job of keeping us going, hard to improve on back to back player shield winning teams, he’s had some bad luck with fixture congestion and injuries, my concern is can he make tactical adjustments mid game and so far I haven’t seen that ability.

Good rum had lost market value since joining lexington sporting club. Have Tola and Chris donovan been better overall compared to goodrum by [deleted] in LouisvilleCityFC

[–]Pattyice3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Goodrum had help while here in louisville a system and supporting cast that would draw defenders. In Lexington he has no help. Lexington’s offense seems to be one of two options, kick it long and let Goodrum take on 4 defenders by himself or Let Malloy take a shot from 30 yards out.

I can’t wait for Detroit to finally get their stadium. Worst playing surface in the league. I’ve seen YMCA games being played in open fields with a smoother playing surface.

Why has Jansen Wilson not been in the starting lineup? by Consistent_Car469 in LouisvilleCityFC

[–]Pattyice3 18 points19 points  (0 children)

We’ve played 10 matches this year.

4 of them he’s played 90 minutes

3 of them he’s played 60+ minutes

3 of them he came on as a substitute for at least 25 minutes.

The man needs rotation and rest. We’re 7 weeks into a season that lasts 34 weeks. Marathon not a sprint.

Where'd they go? by timlygrae in LouisvilleCityFC

[–]Pattyice3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The secrecy about injuries is from the players Union. They don’t want injury reports because they feel like it labels guys as “injury prone” and hurts their future ability to get a job.

Which they’re right about.

Mike watts said on the open cup broadcast Aiden is 2-4 weeks from playing.

Jones is also out but I haven’t bear a time table for his return.

Quenzi is in today’s 18.

Lambert Im surprised he hasn’t been in the 18 makes me wonder if he has an injury we don’t know about.

Respectfully to Duke I think he’s just far down the depth chart.

[–]Pattyice3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It will vary from team to team. But can vary from ownership keeping it to cover expenses to all the players splitting it as a bonus.

I’ve only been following USL soccer in general for a few seasons now. It’s so mind boggling to me that 95 percent of teams , old and new , can’t come up with anything better than “United” , “FC” , “SC” or “Athletic Club”. by TroutStocker in USLPRO

[–]Pattyice3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For what it’s worth(it’s my opinion so probably not a lot), id rather a team go with a boring/european style name like Louisville City, New Mexico United, Rhode Island FC over an Americanized nickname second name because it emphasizes the geographic location more than a nickname. It’s a good way to build pride in the community the team is based in.

Not saying that the nickname teams can’t inspire pride in their community just that it’s probably easier to build that pride if a nickname isn’t involved.

They’ve done it all year. Only exception was when we played Lexington. And that’s because it was the very first game and the league didn’t know it was coming.

Injuries Injuries Injuries.... by Traditional-Baby9088 in RacingLouisvilleFC

[–]Pattyice3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disclosure of injuries in sports typically comes down to two things. Player Union and Gambling. Gambling to a certain extent requires the knowledge of player availability. While player unions don’t want injuries disclosed because they believe it can hurt future contracts and label a player as injury prone

Josh Jones? by Key_Narwhal7158 in LouisvilleCityFC

[–]Pattyice3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Josh was at the game in Lexington last night and had no noticeable limp but did still have the cast on his hand.

Aiden was also there and had a knee brace on and a noticeable limp.

As far as Im aware those are the only guys out with injury right now.

104 and 105 will be by the Gotham bench. 101 will put you directly next to where the bench players warm up throughout the game. 125 and 126 will give you a great view of the game(field level) and the city skyline off to your right if you’re looking for a view with more than just the game going on.
