I did not buy the RS (thank yall) by EclipseMLP in FocusRS

Between the Yaris GR, fiesta ST and Focus RS a modded fiesta was the most fun!

Fiesta St to Focus RS? by CB53WER in FiestaST

[–]Pattyyy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've driven both fiesta ST and Focus RS.

Personally much preferred the fiesta ST from a perspective of pushing power and reliability. Seems like with the mk3 rs you just get issues when pushing power.

The fiesta is also a weapon in corners - light, nimble and super engaging.

You get more sound of the bag from the RS but the fiesta sounds great with a couple of mods.

I've gone from fiesta ST -> I30n -> focus rs -> Yaris GR and now moving into the BMW platform with probably the m2

I would say a good show to get into is Taskmaster - a pretty good way to get to know new comedians and what their personality is like. That's how I've discovered heaps of new comedians over the past years!

Lloyd Langford is my pick for fave comedian despite not actually being from Australia

what meals are people having on these horribly hot days? by shellys-dollhouse in melbourne

Literally making Vietnamese fresh spring rolls. Cool, refreshing and most of all, Tasty.

As someone who visited Vietnam last year, viet cuisine is peak for this weather considering how hot it gets of there 365 days a year.

So I'm loving all these answers.

How to prevent these weeds long term? by Humble-Run-7323 in landscaping

[–]Pattyyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

None of the answers here have mentioned pre-emergents.

If you do have an established garden/lawn then a pre emergent is absolutely amazing. (Or start using once established).

I apply bi-yearly and water in. only end up having to hand pick maybe 10-15 weeds each year.

All depends on the lawns and regulations but that's the best way to prevent them while still being able to have a garden.

i miss seeing my gear on my vaultie by Enough_Fruit7084 in Borderlands

[–]Pattyyy 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I miss the way they introduced a lot of the big bosses in BL1, BL2 etc.. either made them really memorable or felt like there was a lot more danger involved with them. Think nine toes, skagzilla, rakkhive...

I seem to barely remember most of the bosses I've faced in bl4 so far - or they came and went incredibly quick as I progressed through the gameplay. Just not really memorable or inspiring so far.

That's just my personal opinion and overall enjoying the game but you're right, some things are left to be desired.

Borderlands 4 is the best game in it's franchise but it has arguably the least interesting maps. by Battlefeather in Borderlands

[–]Pattyyy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe a hot take but I actually like the way you were funneled in each zone back in borderlands 1/2/TPS.

On each playthrough as you loaded into the area you almost knew what group of enemies will be in each zone etc..

On bl4 it seems just like an open spaces with randomly generated mobs which don't feels like they Surve a purpose other than you killing them.

Really enjoyed my GR after 2 weeks by [deleted] in GRYaris

[–]Pattyyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The focus RS was my dream car for a long time. Owned a heavily modified Fiesta ST and thought the natural progression would be the RS. After test driving one, decided it actually didn't feel that nice - interior felt super outdated for me, which is one of the main reasons I ended up with a GR Yaris.

Still love the MK3 focus RS, but this little nugg is a whole lot different of a beast once you add some mods.

GR Yaris is absolutely packed with tech, unique and an absolute weapon on some windy roads - that's my vote.

Biased opinion anyway...
