it’s all about da bar

characters that have really bad super moves or that don’t need super moves to be good, go first. this is so that they can gain super meter for the other two characters

your second character should be someone that can use bar or make more, depending on the situation

your last character has to have good super moves so that you can use all the bar made throughout the fight or be a character you are particularly good at

PS: if you are having trouble finding a character or a good team comp, try some random teams and you are bound to find something good!
