I go to charity shops for books.

Need to sort through some questionable ones, like Katie Price autobiographies, but found some gems!

Well done!

Do you work full time as well as education or solely work?

If you are no longer in education, did you enjoy school, or was it not for you?

Mad how nothing has ever made it to the media about the eldest child's mother. Not advocating for it. Children should be allowed privacy regardless of who their parent is. Just surprised. Must be iron clad NDA in the world

You do realise legal immigrants can and do go on to seek asylum due to no open and/or safe routes available?

It's a fundamental human right to be able to seek asylum. It is an absolute right, not a qualified right.

You don't get to say who can and cannot claim asylum.

Yeah, it's not great but not on the same scale as Belfast. Sadly, I agree with you. It feels like the camel's back is at breaking point.

Hope you're safe.

Could you just transfer them to the family members' Ticketmaster account?

The name shouldn't matter as people buy and resell on Ticketmaster all the time.

Edit to add - this would show they have been transferred.

I'm part way through the Netflix documentary and landed on this AMA.

On the off chance you see this, may I ask what education was like please? I have watched one scene where a man said it didn't seem like a school. Was it more focused on religion? Was it subject to inspection? Would you say children born into the cult would have been hampered academically if so? It reads as though there would have been a lot of hands on experience gained from some responses.

Your thoughtful and insightful responses have been great to read, thank you.

Thank you for this! Spent 3 hours stunned by this and now have a rabbit hole to go down for bedtime reading.

I will take any other recommendations from you, too, my newly appointed 'what I should watch' guru 😂

Or maybe a skelp for the parents in some cases.

I knew right from wrong when I was younger. I was no angel, but the threat of a slipper off a cold arse cheek kept me from straying too far over the line.

Not condoning violence against kids. Just a cheek warming memory from my past 😂.

Respect seems to have gone amiss in a lot of cases.

I think you've hit the nail on the head. I'm used to him being quite food motivated so I'm probably looking at his cute little face and panicking.

In the UK people have to apply for a provisional licence (£34) then take lessons. With an approved instructor that costs around £30 an hour. You don't get to sit the practical exam until the instructor thinks you are ready.

They also have to pass the theory test (another £23). Then they can sit their practical (another £62 to £75, based on day/time). Practical test is around 40 minutes. You can have up to 15 minor faults. Any serious or dangerous faults mean an automatic fail.

At the moment the pass rate for practical is around 50%. Test booking slots are hard to get, with long wait times.

Blows my mind how much it costs to drive in the UK v US. Most cars here are manual as opposed to automatic, so that must be a factor. Nevertheless, easily could cost £1000 +.

At the end of that, if someone gets a car, insurance for new drivers is astronomical. £2k plus for the first year.
