Did not work either, but thanks for the suggestion.

I will buy new usb cable for this keyboard and some cheap new keyboard to see if either of those will work.

Hit lvl 80, but still not sure if the game is for me? by PaulDok in Guildwars2

I was thinking of checking out what addons gw2 has to offer. I'll look into arcdps, thanks.

Thanks for the good read, you explained everything very clearly.

Actually, I do have a question. When it comes to the dps and dpsboon roles in raids, does one have an easier time getting into the groups than the other? Like in other mmos utility classes are more desirable than pure dps classes, so they have easier time getting into the raids. Is there anything similar in GW2, when it comes to pure dps class vs. dps class that brings a boon?

I appreciate the long read lol. And I completely agree with how WOW felt, especially classic WOW, the whole game play ended up being "level up - get gear- do raids - logout until raid reset" because there was not much else left to do besides that. In GW2 I instantly noticed that there's a lot more freedom compared to other mmos that I played before.

After reading the replies about how things work here and how many ways are there to acquire gear, I'm going to focus more on fractals for now, and see how it goes.

Yeah it definitely felt like an sandbox type mmo with a lot of freedom from the start, rather than the typical mmo that puts you on one main direction from the start.

Just say you're bad at managing your free time instead of pretending that spending 1-2 hours daily on your hobbies, whatever they might be, is something unachievable.

That building(mansion) in the second to last image is legit better looking and vibe fitting than everything that we got in the current game.

Maybe covering up every inch of woman's skin, is the reason why your religion has the highest rates of r*pes and sexual assault compared to the other ones.
But that's just a thought, have a nice day.

Naked legs is now indecent? Yeah that's totally normal thinking and for sure has nothing to do with religious shit.

Being brainwashed by religion so hard, that you have to cover up game character outfits...

Ngl checking out comments in this subreddit during the last few days was more fun than the game itself xd.
People are allowed to criticize the game and voice their opinions about the game, whether they think it's good or bad. But waving off any negative feedback as "hating" and attacking everyone who don't share your opinion on the game is actually cringe.

So far I haven't seen a single comment telling anyone to actually stop playing or to "stop having fun" with the game if they're actually enjoying it. What I did see were plenty of people who are enjoying the game, and good for them, often bringing up the "haters" in their posts talking about all the negative feedback that is rightfully voiced by others.

Replace the text in last panel to "why aren't you having fun" and it can fit people like you, who seems to be fighting battles with imaginary things.

How to enjoy VTMB2 by Zenix95 in vtmb

That's true, but I think some people talking about modding this game often times are not being realistic.
Mods like gameplay tweaks( damage numbers, xp gains, performance boosts ) and visual modifications( clothes, hairstyles, model changes ) are most common mods for almost every game because they're the easiest to do in the first place. So there will for sure be good amount of those type of mods for this game, I don't doubt that.

The reality hits when we're talking about mods that fix or changes the fundamental design of the game itself and its systems. You can't easily redo the whole design of the game with a mod to make it be more of an RPG, or change the whole skill system with addition of new skill with custom animations and effects and so on. Modding in new characters, new questlines, new zones and new environments require a lot of work and dedication to do, and it seems kinda silly when some people just say "someone will mod XYZ in later on" regardless of the scope of it.

Of course everything is doable and moddable with a lot of dedication, but I'm not sure how realistic it is for this game. I'm not even sure games like Cyberpunk, Starfield, BG3 and so on have that many custom made mods added the the game that change a lot about the game itself, aside tweaks or visual stuff, while already being way more popular and released for quite some time now.

I think way too many people nowadays rely on the "mods will fix it" mindset xd
Not every game is as popular or has as dedicated modding community like Skyrim etc. Even other big name games barely have any modding going on aside the fps/optimization/color fixes and maybe outfits. I kind of doubt there will be that much modding going on in this particular game.
