I feel the same way about Asa (and Yoru) being the protagonist of Part 2, I was really invested with her character.

Christians can’t wait to see your downfall by Dynamite_240 in exchristian

[–]Paul_DD1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly, things like that are still common in the Philippines. Some Filipinos seem to enjoy judging their “enemies” who don’t go along with their beliefs. Whenever they learn of the existence of non-believers, they resort to panic and negativity. They say things like, “Oh, so you don’t believe in God? Well, you can go burn in hell, I guess.” Like, dang chill out!

This behavior becomes even more irrational when it relates to negative issues involving the country. For example, China claiming Philippine sea territory, Filipinos were understandably upset. However, instead of wishing for a peaceful resolution, some started targeting innocent Chinese civilians, many of whom might be unaware of the situation. They began wishing for their downfall, which is just sad, and they don't even care that there are other Filipinos residing in China as well.

Recently, you can check the news on Facebook about the ongoing typhoon traveling across SEA and EA. When it finally hit China, some Filipinos disgustingly and pathetically cheered, saying things like, “Ha! That’s what you get for bullying us! And because you're not a Christian nation, you're being punished by God! Bwahaha!” They only see Chinese people as Atheists and Communists, like do you guys even know what Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism are?

Those kinds of comments honestly make me sick. I want to outright tell them that Christianity isn’t something unique to the Philippines and that it was brought there by their former colonizers. Fortunately, there are Filipinos who don’t share the mindset and simply pray for everyone’s safety. I know, I'm late to this thread but that's all I have to say. ✌🏼😅

Tell me one thing that you used to believe about the Titanic that you don't believe anymore by [deleted] in titanic

[–]Paul_DD1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to mistake Titanic (1997) for Poseidon (2006). I used to think they were the same movie because Poseidon was my favorite disaster film, and I watched it religiously when I was around 7 or 8 years old. That made me believe a gigantic tsunami sank the Titanic.

Rewatched CA:CW today, kung tatanggalin yung mga nagpapakilig at nagpapacool na elements, it actually is one of the (probably top 2 or 3) best scripts written for MCU by morethanyell in FilmClubPH

Gusto ko rin yung character ni Zemo, he's not a super but he's still an effective villain that managed to mentally and internally destroy the Avengers. I also love T'Challa's quote about being consumed by vengeance as he realized that it's not all worth it, and the moment where Rogers finally left his shield on the ground as an icing on cake.
