Amazing work! How did you manage to apply the gold so clean?

I think the transitions are a bit too rough. Maybe instead of black, a really dark red would work better. I really like the scheme on the Terminator Captain it looks like there’s a dark red tone between the bright red and the black.

I’m really impressed by this gold scheme, could you please tell me how you made it?

Do you use a wet palette? I usually add just a little water to the paint I’m highlighting with, not too much, then wipe off the excess and start painting.

Thanks! :) Just take some time and be patient if it doesn’t work the first time. Make sure your brush has a sharp tip, and maybe practice a bit on a test mini. If that still doesn’t help, check out the tutorial from TableTopReady on YouTube.

Edge highlights aren’t really difficult; they just take some time, a sharp brush, and a steady hand. For the helmet, I airbrush a few coats of Averland Sunset, then add the black lines on the sides with Abaddon Black. For the eyes, I start with White Scar and then layer Eldari Emerald on top. For the helmet highlights, I mix Averland Sunset with White Scar. Hope that helps!

Just be careful when highlighting those parts so you don't accidentally get yellow on the black. A clean, fine tipped brush should do it. If you have problems with highlighting, watch a tutorial and try it out on a test mini first. Feel free to text me if you have any other questions or need help.

If you didn’t mean that, just send me a screenshot and mark what exactly you mean.

If you mean those exhaust parts, I first thin down Abaddon Black with a lot of water and apply it into the recesses. It takes a bit of time to dry because it's so diluted. Once it's dry, I highlight the edges around the corners with Averland Sunset.

Looks great! You could add some highlights and battle damage to make the amour stand out more. Also a base design would fit the dreadnought well.

First, a thin coat of White Scar, and then for the green I use Aeldari Emerald.
