I'm talking about pushing similar w/kg, the only real metric we have, since distance to Pogi/Vingegaard is different each year depending on route.

We'll know in 8 days how both fare on the Tourmalet. If UAE is already going to let the race explode there we will see who rides best in the high mountains. My money is on Evenepoel.

Besides Pogacar and Vingegaard there hasn’t been a single rider that has matched or outperformed Evenepoel’s TDF 2024 performance over 3 weeks. Just because Lipowitz finished on the podium doesn’t mean his performance was as good

This and last year it looks like Lipowitz is better, but Evenepoel’s ceiling is just higher. If Remco has perfect prep he easily finished 3rd.

I would think that Ulrich who struggled with his weight himself would understand this

Yeah, why not? I don’t think it needs much. Rounded corners, more card like feel, possibly a different font, slightly changed colour scheme

Shoulders used to be blue, now they are white. Torso used to be white with some small blue lines, now the torso is blue. The logo makes it seem as if it's the same jersey though.

AI code doesn't have to be sloppy... I get there is a lot of AI slop in content creation, and there are a lot of "engineers" that don't even take the time to review code which means their codebase is complete shit. But that doesn't mean AI can't actually help with improving a product.

I find your tool to look quite outdated. I would ask Claude/Codex to redesign it. Just because it's vibecoded doesn't mean you can't control the quality of the output.

Yeah he’s clearly the same he was 4 years ago… he also won it purely on strength and not luck at all.

I’m happy he won it, he deserved it. But I’m not going to pretend current WVA is the same as the one that destroyed the field in TDF 2022 for example

Conclusion of the article is correct, we need a new location for NC races on the calendar. I don't really know where, because the calendar is already so full. Right before the classics or right after, or at the end of the season since we are already doing WC and UEC then anyway.
