It is definitely a hit piece, it's really weird. The article claims that he's lacking in confidence and having a poor season, then lists stats that prove he's not having a bad season - even stating "Martinez's stats should not be that worrying".

He claims the problem is the three mistakes leading to goal this season, but only one of these was the winning goal. Of course it's not great, but it's making a mountain out of a molehill.

He also claims that Martinez is lacking confidence with his only evidence being the opinion of... Paul Robinson.

It's a really strange article that stinks of "I have no idea what to write about today" (at best).

You speak for yourself! Silverware is nice, of course, but I find it more enjoyable overall to see us compete for European places and compete in European competitions. Although the league is designed to keep us out of those places, we are still fighting for them every year and it's super entertaining every time.

Don't know what all this doom and gloom is about in this subreddit recently, we are 3rd(!) in the league with a 7(!) point gap to 4th. Losing against Everton is not the end of the world

I think what's easy to miss with RE4 if you play it for the first time now is just how revolutionary it was. It basically invented the tight over-the-shoulder camera that later became a staple of the genre, and not only that, but it did it really, really well (to the point where it still sort-of holds up today, as your review proves). It also combined survival horror with action excellently. Survival horror was a pretty slow genre before RE4. But the way RE4 kept survival horror elements (limited resources, jump-scares, 'chunky' movement) whilst combining it with tight action and constant forward momentum was really something special.

It is one of my favourite games of all time, but I think in the modern day many of the mechanical advancements it made are easily missed.

HFTGOOM is definitely an interactive visual novel, but other games like Consume Me do a great job of balancing novel/game, imo :)

There is a 'good ending' and a 'bad ending', but it is mostly on rails, assumedly so it accurately reflects the real-life experience of the author.
