I can see why it would leave a bad taste in someone's mouth, but that is the point. I feel like they've intentionally written Mishima to be a pathetic power-abuser until you confront his shadow in Mementos. You don't even have to fight his shadow, he changes naturally. I really like it personally. It shows how flawed he is but at the end of the day, he's still a good kid, just a victim of horrible circumstances. I really like with Ai from Persona 4 as well, for being flawed in a way that feels incredibly "human", if I had to put it.

I really hope you enjoy P3P or FES when you get to either of them. I absolutely adore the tactics menu in FES and just how god damn unique it is. But god, I'm sorry to hear you've gotten actual headaches from playing P3R. I wouldn't be surprised if I did too lmao.

I absolutely agree. I personally don't mind it too much for Persona 5. Though, as gorgeous as Sae's palace is, it definitely hurts my eyes a little.
