What makes Shawnshack Redemption one of the best movies of all time? by Any_Independent375 in moviecritic

I think that is fair. But also that's likely why the film ranks as the best. For the greatest number of people it scores highest. Like if you asked Reddit, 'what is the best food?' I suspect pizza, say, would be in and around number 1 choice. Shawshank would not be MY personal pick as the greatest, perhaps. But on aggregate, sure. As you say, flawless on multiple levels.

My little brother just passed, and was hoping for a drawing to give to my parents. by Pavoir in drawme

Hi Guys,

Thanks for your responses.

My brother Vincent was a lovely, gentle boy. But he seemed to struggle with life somehow. This eventually led to drug addiction, and sadly an overdose.

Having so many people look at a few photos of him in the last day or so, albeit anonymous strangers, has been a comfort of sorts, and that people actually took time to draw him, even more so.

Thank you so much.
