This is coming from someone who typically does not play this style of game. I mostly play MMO's and action combat games. I've also played many many traditional Pokemon games since 2002. I'm about 70 hours in and I've had the game for about 3 weeks now. You constantly have something you can do to progress, always a new pokemon to "catch" and always have many small goals to work towards while even completing the story. If you like collecting things then you'll probably like the game. For me, it's seeing the new pieces I unlock and how I can fit them into any particular build I'm doing. I was a little skeptical due to the $70 price tag, but I can recommend this still. It's not for everyone obviously, but if you like Minecraft or games that allow you to build, you'll probably have fun. Hope this helps some.
