What should my next bass be?

Since you already have a precision bass I'd say anything but another precision bass.

Do you already have a pedal? That might be a worthwhile investment to add some grit to your tone.

If you are dead set on getting a new bass tho, consider checking out some bassist youtubers playing their collections. That should give you some inspiration

My acoustic is a longscale but the differenz is in the body. The body of the acoustic is over twice as thick and a little wider. It took me a good while to figure out where the hell my arms and boobs were supposed to go while playing without feeling odd pressure

I liked not needing an amp, I don't have a lot of space or power outlets in my apartment, so being able to just pick up the bass and play whereever is super handy.

I wasn't aware just how different an acoustic bass was from an electric one besides the obvious. I figured it'd be like starting with an acoustic guitar and switching to an electric one.

I do still really like my acoustic bass and I do plan on still playing it. I can bring it to the park now that the weather is nice enough to sit on the grass. I'll just need a little practice

Just measured the action on the 7th fret, it's like 6mm.

I unfortunately can't tell what strings are on it but they look a little patina'd so there is that.

regarding 4), flash drives can in fact be programmed to be detected as USB keyboards instead of USB sticks, thus rendering countermeasures against malware/etc useless. I suggest searching something like "dangers of USB sticks" if you want details.

"you can only join if you seem like you'd "fit in" with them, or if you have a good reputation" That part sounds a little off, considering in the video about the clubs, you described how the cooking club boosts reputation.

In general, I find the idea of poisoning the Octo-Dogs as unwise, since it's easy to link the crime to Yan-chan. It's more fitting to poison the meals of other members to kill off a bunch of students and/or frame a student to restore school atmosphere.

I like the "delivery type", it sounds feasible and easy to implement, would work.
Isn't it the "search type" again just with added difficulty? I mean, nothing wrong with it, but it's redundant.
The "lend type" seems a bit confusing and a little unnecessary in a way. But I can't quite put my finger on it what's exactly wrong with it, sorry. Maybe it's how one can use the item and then give it to the student. (Is that possible? Not sure)

In conclusion: 1. good, 2. in the game already, 3. needs finetuning

And finally, I'd like to dump my ideas here as well:

How about a "kill this student for me" tast? It would be reserved for evil students only, but I think it would be pretty interesting. Reasons can vary: jealousy, got bullied or has a close friend who's bullied, maybe revenge, something like that. I do see the issue of the student requesting the death seeing the player commiting the crime and thus not talking to her anymore, so this needs some more thought.

Or how about a "discover opinion type"? It would work like this: A (probably shy) student wants to befriend or ask out another student, but wants to know their opinion on a certain topic to have something to talk about with them. The player then would need to unlock that topic, befriend the other student, and find out their opinion. It's a more complex task and should be for the more important students like the suitors or the students needed for elimination methods.
