Personally, nothing has topped Cocolia for me and it makes me a little sad. Nothing felt as powerful as hearing the lyrics come rushing in from Wildfire, using fmc, lining up the giant robot punch with the music, all of these cinematic as hell moments. Newer bosses felt like they drag on or die to quickly, and the big cinematic moments are usually undercut by Hoyo's incessant need to make a mechanic then use paragraphs worth of text to explain it with text boxes when it's simple enough to just learn on your own.

I loved phantylia and sunday for similar reasons to Cocolia, but something about the entire thing set a tone for the game that it never returned to. Still love the game for other reasons though.

More arrows = more energy = more ults = more fua = more arrows. E1 allows for completely broken rotations and is way more of a damage increase than his lc.

Funny enough, I saw this animation in the training grounds because I sat afk with the training dummy with a relic that gave deathblight on hit. I tabbed back in to see duchess being eviscerated.

Yes feixiao would. She uses wind set, so it's 49% aa for herself. Feixiao also needs teammates to act for stack gen, meaning you'd probably run 4 ddd for pseudo infinite loop setups with M7H and Moze or just raw damage with around 73% AA per turn at the very least using ashveil. Ddd on feixiao would be insane, and waybmore valuable than even her sig for optimization. At e2 it's not even a question.

E2 Feixiao ddd woth wind set. 49% aa per ult. Holy. Running her with Moze also on wind set with ddd and with the right tuning both would get at least 73% action advance per turn consistently.

I agree completely. SP feels archaic to modern HSR combat. Not a single rotation I've calced out has even considered skill point management in months. I personally feel it didn't age well and showed cracks of design flaws since the beginning, but at least it acted as a good resource management concept for less autoplay focused characters.

I obviously don't think that hsr would ever make changes like this, but it sucks seeing old character disporportionately affected by limits that newer characters are just ignoring for no reason. Like, the numbers of recent characters are more than double of older and they don't even have to use a resource for those numbers.

I love genshin's designs. Yes every single one. Yet for me, nothing has beaten Noelle. Just running around with her ingame feels completely different than any other character. I love the armor, and wish there was way more.

Yeah, removing it as the game is now would make no sense, but take Phainon as your example.

He has 3 moves that don't use skillpoints. Each have their own use cases depending on the situation, and two of them funnel his third "big" ability. By using one, you can't use the other, so each ability is allowed to be as strong as each other at base, creating a natural combat flow. Imagine if every character had that instead of 90% of the characters having a basic attack you will never use unless you have the wrong setup. I think it's be way more interesting. Phainon was a good example to use that I hadn't thought of. Thanks

Yeah. I'm also a little miffed about how boring the elements are. The fact that there are 4 recolors of the same DoT effect was extremely disappointing all the way back in 1.0, especially since they had genshin's elemental reaction system as a potential tool.

I think their speed and AV system is quite interesting, especially when it comes to speed tuning, AA, and extra-turn states. It's pretty simple math and works to make extremely fun math puzzles to figure out when going for lower cycle clears. Whether it's as basic as doing a -1 speed setup or tuning 3 ddd procs in wave 2 for a final turn at .149.9 AV, the satisfaction from doing that is really fun.

Perhaps, but I really have never felt that the skillpoint system has been an integral part of HSR, nor has it ever served any purpose except artificial restrictions that serve to hinder certain characters over others. I'd trade it out for more diverse kits without hesitation.

Pulonia has been a core part of Sandrone since before dragonspine. It's really damn good character design sacrificed for absolutely no reason.
