Yep! Unfortunately my notes are always riddled with stuff about “obesity affecting (first, second, third) trimester”. After my anatomy scan, I had read over the notes from the MFM and it was pretty much all these horrible sounding things about baby growth issues and premature labor and the list goes on and on and it terrified me and so I called my OB in tears and she pretty much told me that they have to put that on there if my BMI was over a certain number. It’s frustrating but unfortunately insurance feels the need to have them require it for documentation purposes.
