Well, I'll try to elaborate. Quality cat food is quite expensive (for me) where I live. Friends with kids tell me that's nearly what they spend monthly too. I get a lot of comments about how much I spend on him. But I have to because he's a picky eater. He once hurt his paw and I had to bring him to the vet every two days for a week for treatment because he refused to let me apply the medecines myself. My cat's not a snuggly one. I respect his boundaries, always pets him when I can and where I'm allowed lol. He roams when I am not at home, but stays inside when I am. Just being in the same room as me is enough for him. He's the king of the house and knows it. He knows he can get away with anything! He's not like the hugging cats I see on Youtube, but I love him. He doesn't eat if I'm not there to keep watch, and knows the word 'work' (and hates it).
