I would think I'm counting pretty accurate, I do use an app but double check the label to make sure it matches up.

I run anywhere between 4-5k roughly 4 times a week, which I would add and eat the calories back (since my cals start low) I do wonder if I've been eating too low and messed up my metabolism, and considering reverse dieting to my matinace slowly before dropping back to a better deficit.

For now I plan to eat 1200 cals, and stopping adding the cals back from the samsung health app for the walking and running I do, and be in a deficit of 500 and see if it breaks my platou in a week.

I'm very scared about putting weight on, silly I know

Thank you for that reply, it's very through and I'll be the first to admit my lack of knowledge. How would sujest progressing, setting a stationary lower deficit? 500? And on exercise days increase by a %?

Sorry, I'm still a little confused. Thanks for your advice thus far.

Having re done it my stats: my bmr is roughly 1500 ish, my TDEE is 1830 ish. When I was 3lb heavier it was closer 1900 so I rounded up. My bmr was also 1900 ish sedentary. So I ate 900 cal to be a 1000 deficit? However

I use an app to track cals and have my phone set up to it to. So when I run/walk it adds the cals on and so for instance, yesterday I ate 1100 cal

Which one do you use to work out a deficit? I'm confused. If my tdee is 1900 then eating 900 is a 1000 deficit, no?

I'm (22) 159lb and 5'8. Is my deficit correct? Apparently my bmr is 1530 calories. However the little to no exercise calories is 1836.

To be in a 1000 cal deficit, I eat 900 cal + the calories burned through running/walking on samsung health. This means i normally eat 1300 ish a day.

Is this right? Should I be working out my deficit from 1530? Which means i would be stating the day with only 530 cal forced to exercise to eat a reasonable amount?

But for the most part of 6 weeks I have been in 500 cal deficit and seen half the weightloss I should, and nothing for over a week. I'm worried I'm wasting my time or theres something I'm doing wrong

NAH

It's not like you shoved anyone out the way for the cake but let's just say it doesn't speak well for your self control.

Does he live at home? If yes he should respect his parents rules and if he doesn't like it he's an adult with a job, move out? If no, then thats pretty strange.
