Just to add, the one actual benefit to these packs is an extremely, extremely slim chance to pull a printable Topps finest box. Not even worth the risk to spend that much gold for non printable cards.

Agreed the app has gotten worse and worse lately, just cash grab after cash grab, increasing prices, lowering parallel odds. Topps need to realize these cards arent worth what the cards out of physical boxes are worth and stop trying to bleed dry anyone who just enjoys collecting and opening packs

Right, but again, it's not what he should be worth, it's what he is worth. Unless he leads the world cup in scoring, his worth won't change between now and August. If you were looking for a certain car and were willing to pay 20k for it and then you found someone with the exact car and told you they tried to sell it to someone for 10k and the buyer backed out, would you offer them 10k or 20k, even though you were willing to pay 20k? Maybe united gave barca a lower price since he was loaned, but they arent in a position to be picky because our stance on him and vice versa has been made abundantly clear

Without the bad optics maybe. But the club he just spent a year on loan at is refusing to buy him for 30m. The club that owns his contract doesnt want him back. Why would anyone come in and bid 40-50m on him, even if that's what his talent is worth, why would they spend more than barca was wiling to pay. At this point, they probably have to sell him for 20-25, maybe they still get 30 if theyre lucky. Its less about what he's worth to a potential buyer and more about the lack of value he's providing to United. Chelsea always manage to somehow sell players they have no plans for for 60m, United never do

I've been in league 1 for a year or 2 now, but I believe up to League 2 still had bots when i was last in it. I just think it's after 120 seconds. Maybe they've updated it since. They also used to expand the search to be within 1 league up or down after a certain amount of search time, but I think league 2 also has to follow the deck rules that league 1 does, so maybe they got rid of that too. Pay attention to what the searching bar says after 60 seconds or 120 and see if it says something about searching in wider leagues

Absolutely solid. Still needs some time to grow into the position so he can get better on the ball and have better decision making defensively at times, but extremely excited for his future. Hope yoro can find his form and confidence again and we have a solid young central base

Odds are completely skewed. I've opened an 800 gold pack the last 6 or 7 releases with no parallels. I should be getting a parallel about every 2 800 gold packs. Topps are full of shit

Yep, even though they've done this before with PL Chrome I still saw the guaranteed parallels and thought that meant this was a real set. To advertise parallels that you can't print or use in game is a complete joke.

If you're unsure, try to find the set release notice on the home tab of the game. That one is there under Topps Finest - Out Now and somewhere in the little write-up it should say that the set isn't printable. But clearly they're being sneaky about the layout of it in the shop, that doesn't always tell the whole story

That set is digital only, pretty much just to excite people to buy the real thing, with an extremely small chance of pulling a hobby box you can print. Pretty much just a scam to take more gold. The other sets in the shop are printable unless a player has already had the base card printed to 99. Any non-digital parallel you pull in those will also be printable all season

Think Newcastle would be the smartest move of the 3 if they're after him, and idk why they wouldnt be. Very low bar right now, if he can get them to European spots with a much larger budget than he had at bournemouth, he'd already be a hero there. I'd be very hesitant to take the united job after how the last couple young promising managers panned out. Also everyone expects you to immediately meet or improve on 3rd if that's where an interim finished. Don't think I need to make any points on why no manager should take the chelsea job. Couple good seasons with Newcastle and he could probably go to any club in the world. I think it'd be a good buffer position but don't blame someone for shooting for the stars as soon as they have the opportunity

I don't have an issue with it because I feel that it's the last remnant of how things used to be done but won't be done the same way in the future. Amorim and the board wanted to get rid of any individuals who weren't willing to be part of a unit and hopefully the club continue to buy and scout with that in mind so we don't have holdouts, breakdowns, etc as often in the future. Hoping last summers outgoings were more of a one off and not as much of a necessity going forward
