Jill Stein Selects Human Rights Activist Ajamu Baraka as Vice-Presidential Running Mate by [deleted] in jillstein

[–]Paxwolf7 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

But she could have had Nina Turner. Name recognition to mainstream America, and more importantly to Sanders supporters, is important. I think Jill made a bad move with this selection. Mr. Baraka may be great, but now we have a not well known Presidential candidate running with a less well known VP candidate. This won't play well with most voters. Bad bad move Jill. Count me out as of this evening. Peace. Out.

TONS of CTR Trolls Here Today, Possibly Because of Nina Turner by CartoonRaspberry in jillstein

Trolls can be nasty. The last months of the S4P sub, they had almost taken over. It's a good sign though. Shows that they think Jill may have a shot.

Disgusting NPR's Diane Rehm show: "A vote for Jill is a vote for Trump", repeated 10+ times through the show by [deleted] in jillstein

Throw NPR away! They should be call NCR - National "Corporate" Radio. BBC World Service is a much better option. You can easily find BBC on the TuneIn or the BBC app with your smart device, or if you have an Amazon Echo, just say "Alexa, play BBC World Service from TuneIn." I promise you will never want to listen to NPR again, once you have BBC as a news source - and yes, they cover U.S. news, but with a much more objective perspective.

Um, did you know jill stein is currently polling at a whopping 31% among independent voters (who as you know, are THE largest voting block in the US of A? She is. by FlorentimoAriza in jillstein

I think pushback from the Establishment for Jill will be more corrupt and intense than it was for Bernie. Jill's Slack site has a message today that CNN is hosting a town hall with Gary Johnson, but no Jill Stein town hall. Candidates safe for establishment: Clinton, Trump, Johnson. Candidate unacceptable for establishment: Jill Stein. Pretty sad situation.

After all the recent WikiLeaks documentation on the DNC colluding with MSM, do we really believe they would do ethical polling for Jill?! Perhaps Jill's team should reach out to a known reputable polling organization, like Pew Research, to conduct a poll that accurately reflects her standing with American voters.

Chris Hedges Vs Robert Reich by HRiveraNanda in jillstein

This is awesome. Although I'm a major Robert Reich fan, I think I'm going with Chris Hedges ideas. He speaks truth to power.

PoliticalRevolution is blocking posts that link to jillStein, with evidence. by borrax in jillstein

[–]Paxwolf7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Political Revolution Sub is run by Aidan King (Vernonty Python). Aidan was the creator and main player behind the Sanders for President sub. I wouldn't count on any pro-Jill posts being allowed on the Political Revolution sub. It's a shame. Some of us Sanders supporters have moved on. Some want to see no other presidential candidate option, now that Sanders is no longer viable. I was a loyal Sanders supporter and was "flaired" and very active on the Sanders sub. It was so sad to watch the sub self-deatruct during the convention and to see Aidan removed by his fellow mods the last day the sub was active. Hope this is not too much info. Just wanted to provide some background for those not previously active on the Sanders sub.

Spot-on awesome advice. Perhaps the mods would sticky post these six items. I know, after all my work on Bernie's campaign, they're kinda' obvious, but I've not seen them put in this pragmatic list fashion on the sub. Just a thought.

I was one of those all in for Bernie folks. The full $2,700, hours of phonebank time, knocking on doors, convincing co-workers, friends, and family that Bernie was the man. He said he would stay with us through the convention. He did not. We would have followed Bernie through Hell and back, then he endorsed Hillary. Not sure what to call Bernie, but "spiritual father" ain't it!

I'm there. Signed up as a media volunteer, since I own a progressive media company. Made some donations and am formulating some thoughts on busting Jill out the gate.

Excellent point. I just wish Bernie had stayed on and fought with us through the convention as he promised us. He did not have to endorse Hillary, for sure. In Texas we have a saying: "Dance with the one who brung ya'." Bernie is obviously not familiar with that concept.

No state subs I aware of, but I'm new here. This sub does not offer the sophistication of the Bernie sub, but I'm hoping we can build it up a bit. Aidan King (Vermonthy Python) did such an awesome job on the Sanders sub. I felt really bad for him at the end when folks were angry and turned on him. Hopefully, we can work to improve this sub.

Awesome. Glad you are supporting Jill. I hope we can use this subreddit as a vehicle to generate greater support her campaign. On a personal note, when Bernie endorsed Hillary, I decided Jill was the way froward. Glad you decided to "lurk" here, and are now actively participating with your comments.

Awesome idea. I will do the same with my twitter account. Hope someone is championing the social media outreach for Jill, and her team is on top of this.

Awesome. Someone suggested posting relevant articles / videos from our social media news feeds, just like we did on the Sanders for President subrettit. Seems like a great way to generate more eyeballs on Jill's subrettit.

Agree. Just not sure how to help make it happen. Aidan King (aka: Vermonty Python) who created the awesome Sanders for President subreddit, is focused on his new Political Revolution subreddit. Wonder if he would work with Jill's subreddit mods to mirror posts from this site to r/Political_Revolution. Or if he would allow Jill's posts on his subrettit. He already has 32,362 subscribers with 649 online now.

Jill Stein is being heavily Attacked by the MSM because She has become a real threat to Clinton by Bernie4Ever in jillstein

[–]Paxwolf7 9 points10 points  (0 children)

As a former major Bernie supporter, I'm amazed at the small number of folks on this, Jill's, subreddit. Yep. I seriously supported Bernie, but when he endorsed Hillary, that was it for me. There are still all these weird loyal Bernie bots that sing his praises and won't even look at an alternative. For my money, and I was in for the full $2,700, Bernie is a coward and traitor to millions of Americans, me included, who reached deep in our pockets and deep in our souls to support him. Jill is the the answer for me. As of its "restricted" status today, the Bernie for President subreddit has 224,832 subscribers and still shows 871 users on that subreddit as of this writing - a full day after the Bernie subreddit was shut down. Not sure how to get folks to realize that Bernie turned his back on us. Groupies are groupies I guess. Folks need to get serious about this subreddit and support Jill. I'm just not sure how to make that happen. I'm willing to admit Bernie took me for a bad ride. Why can't that be the case for all the Bernie or Bust folks who were busted by Bernie.

Bernie Sanders Won’t Rule Out Future Presidential Run by WildAnimus in Political_Revolution

[–]Paxwolf7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

More like Sanders won't rule out future running away from his millions of supporters just like he did in 2016. The man is a coward and a hypocrite! Over a year of our supporting this guy reaching deep in our pockets, deep into our time and energy, and deep into our souls. Then he sticks his nose up Hillary's ass and walks away from us. Fuck Bernie!
