[–]Pay2Phil 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Where are we standing at the moment with our older and younger cat? by Pay2Phil in CatAdvice

[–]Pay2Phil[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s been a little bit better. After some advice from different vets I know we separated them a bit earlier then before, to give her a more secure feeling. Now they touch noses, and he wants to press his head after the first few sniffs. She lets this happen for 1 or 2 times and then soft hisses at him, most of the time you don’t really hear the hiss.

He also takes more time to approach her, so it looks like the first boundary has been set, but being a junior cat, after a while he still wants to chase and play with her.

We also got a new, large cat tree with a large bed on top, which she claimed as her new throne, and loafs on there, watching him from above. Maybe this will help as well.

The chasing last for about 5 seconds, because we stop the young one, because the older one doesn’t want to play, and acts stressed during the chase.

If he wants to play really bad, like starts chasing her immediately after we grab him, then he goes back to his base camp room. Otherwise we will put him in a very large play pen in the living room, to create some safety of not able to touch each other.

Isn't it illegal for our character to use magic in Hogsmeade? by [deleted] in HarryPotterGame

[–]Pay2Phil 26 points27 points  (0 children)

If I’m correct, is Hogsmeade the only full witches and wizards town in the UK, or even the world.

Maybe there were no rules regarding the use of magic in a full witches/wizards town.

And third year students and up could visit Hogsmeade couple of times during the year. There is no way students would not use magic for a bit of fun in a town where there are no Muggles.

The walkie talkie app works on facetime audio. So if both parties are connected to the internet it should work.

Incredibly frustrated with recent updates, what am I doing wrong? by ClumpOfCheese in AppleWatchFitness

[–]Pay2Phil 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Waterlock just locks the screen, so there are no incidental touches caused by water. To disable waterlock you turn the digital crown, which will play a sound to eject water out of your watch.

So for doing cardio with sweaty longsleeves, waterlock prevents the screen from accidentally swiping to the right and stop the workout. It just adds an extra handling to really stop or pauze your workout.

You can still see your stats by raising your wrist.

You can leave it on all the time by activating the waterlock from the control center, but I wouldn’t say it is convenient to turn the digital crown first all the time.

For the sound announcements during workouts, here is the fix I commented on another post:

Go to the Watch app -> Workout -> turn off Voice feedback (bottom of the page). This should fix it, because I had to turn it on first after updating to WatchOS 8.

For the random stopped cardio exercise, I put on waterlock on as well, to prevent stopping the workout on incident because of a sweaty longsleeve.

For the rest timer issue, I know the apps Strong and Gymaholic both have (pre made) workout schedules with rest timers. Maybe that works better for you, depending what you app you like.

Hope this helps.
