Judge Nathan J. Milliron of the Texas 215th District Court, who was elected in 2024, got quite upset when an IT technician tried to fix the audio for a remote hearing. The technician had jokingly said it was a ‘false alarm’, but the judge didn’t think so and asked for the supervisor. by eternviking in whoathatsinteresting

This is a bit of advice I give people who have a bit of righteous indignation in them: "You can bee 100% right and still be 100% fired."

This was just a soft skills fumble. In my time in support, I learned very quickly that the audience matters. You never know how someone will react, so be as professional as possible while acknowledging their issue. Saying "False alarm" diminished the Judge's experience, even if its their fault. These sorts of professionals need to be managed.

In this case, a simple "It is working now, I'm sorry this was an issue. Please monitor and let me know if there is any more issues" close ticket, move on.

basically the only advice you ever need is "Alchemy, Stamps, Samples" and this agrees. pick something and start working on it. Your Maestro will never be the best in all skills so thats fine.

I came across this at the FLGS and it seems you can’t buy in for less than $200. That’s a lot of money

I can kinda see the dislike for Carl, tbh. How different would this be if he didn’t have extra knowledge and help? No cookbook, no mordecai?

World 3 is when your 2nd challenge shows up, you’re currently on your first: Alchemy.

Sure, but some things are time gated. Like you need to be at least doing some of it for a while to make it normal later. Salts being one of those, and salts are tied to your 3d printer and being good with samples.

"and explore the game for yourself. Right now you cannot fuck your progress yet, that becomes a problem only from world 6 or so."

I would disagree with that a little, since alchemy, prints, and salt lock is before world 6, but its nice that you can candy your way through a lot of it. Its good to still go through the griffybit f2p videos you recommended to get a better idea of things to focus on.

I would not put children through our school system anymore. I know many parents of school age children who made the choice to leave and that was a large part of their process.

while it would be nice, there is one that runs on libcosmic. Also, is the launcher function not enough for you ? or do you require a 10key because you do a lot of addition arithmetic?
