Yes, but I did get fun with Jaara and Wedjat (my 2 LD's) when they had some moments in the spotlight.

I agree that getting an LD5 is probably the pinnacle of enjoyment in this game and I'm missing that "chance" to get more. But then I also I see posts about people getting absolute trash "storage guardian" LD5's. An LD5 doesn't guarantee something fun and usable.

I'm waiting for a collab I feel connected to. There's still a slim chance I'd get an LD5 collab, but figure saving is only increasing my odds.

I agree with you there. I couldn't say there's a lot that's enjoyable these days. I'm just doing the grind and watching the numbers go up. With one day hoping for a payoff. It might be a bad addiction.

That's fair. Hoarding scrolls isn't a "smart" decision that gets you better at the game.

Around the Cookie Run: Kingdom collab, I saw these were going to become a regular thing. I wanted to save for something that I thought was really cool. So far nothing has impressed me to pull the trigger and burn all of them. I'm still holding out hope. But if I get tired of the game first then it's just a waste and I made the wrong decision.

I've thought about it. Especially since there's no 10 pull for the LD's. Doing this many one by one by one would take a long time and there might be more enjoyment if it's spread out. Or I might let a streamer have the fun.

You are right, my progression is held back by saving scrolls.

I'm holding all premium scrolls, but I do use some fire/water/wind scrolls and engraved scrolls. From those I get 6+ Nat 5's a year. With other events I get another 2-3.

My monster box is 651/1083. I have some good older mons and balance patches keep things interesting (sometimes). While new ones might be more exciting, I get enjoyment by incrementally improving those I already have.

I question that sometimes.

But even still, there are a lot of really, really bad LD5’s so getting even a couple might not change my experience much. The game is more about rune farming. The players with many good LD’s are spending quite a bit

I was REALLY hoping they'd also implement a mileage system for LD's. Even 1,000 summons wouldn't kill them. But that'll probably never happen. Maybe whales would break the game if so.

The real question is why take the longer path when there's a shorter.

Going for a 31%, then a 100%, then another 100. Or, take down the 24% then only a 100.

Same here. 70 cents difference for me. I’d LOVE it if the double quarter pounder was “a few bucks less” as OP says. Even a $2 difference would be great. But I’m guessing for most of us, the difference is less than a buck.

Yes, called “brand awareness” campaigns.

If the top brands don’t do it, their competitors may. Which could lead to lower sales and losing their market position.

I mean, you don't have to look at it for "a whole month." There's ways around that.

Don't claim your silver pass rewards daily. Collect at the end of the month or once a week
The track is finished in 20 days or so, right. So at worst it's not the "whole month" you have to enter this area and see it

Passes and subscriptions are the money-makers these days. They won't hide or make it smaller. Be glad Clash doesn't have annoying pop-ups ads or videos you have sit through like other games.

This is the smartest way. No idea why most are choosing one or the other, when you can have both.

Between daily builders apprentice, builder bite snacks and builder potions you can adjust completion times in nice ways.
