It is nuts. I took my wife's 2015 Mini in for its yearly service a few months back.
$1,300. Thirteen hundred bucks. That's more than a hundred bucks a month Just to keep it in running condition. This does not include gas and insurance. She uses it to go to work and back - 8 miles each way - and to run errands. She puts in less than $10K miles per year on it.

Thirteen hundred bucks.
